Paco de Arcos was a short 20 minute ride from the airport...
Paco de Arcos was a short 20 minute ride from the airport and just outside the city center. It is a quaint town, quiet and had great restaurants, lovely people and easy access to both train transit and beaches. You can walk all the way to Lisbon along the waterfront with many beaches and landmarks. We did a day trip to Cascais via the train and were completely at ease for our entire stay. Our best outing was a day trip to visit many of the Knight's Templar historical sites with a local guide who was a history buff and shared much of his knowledge with us.DiannaCanada - 10Scored 10
Paço de Arcos is the perfect midpoint between Lisbon city...
Paço de Arcos is the perfect midpoint between Lisbon city and the coastline beaches that stretch eastwards to Cascais. Recommended if you want to retreat to be somewhere a little quieter that is walking distance to a variety of beaches. It's very easy to get to/from Paço de Arcos with the train from Cais do Sodre, although check the timetable as the trains run every 15-20 minutes. O Pastus restaurant in the Paço de Arcos Garden is excellent for modern a modern presentation of Portuguese seafood dishes, with great cocktails as well.

The apartment itself was very good with everything you need...
The apartment itself was very good with everything you need for a longer stay and a beautiful view on the ocean. The surroundings are also very good with a lot of restaurants, a supermarket, a bakery and the train station nearby. The soul of this all is Frederico, our very friendly host, who was there to give us a warm welcome with a lot of advises about where to park the car for free, the way to the train station and interesting places to visit. He was all the time available for questions and tips and at the end he was also there to wish us a good journey back home. It couldn't be better.WoutNetherlands - 10Scored 10
Perfectly located to explore either Lisbon or the coast line...
Perfectly located to explore either Lisbon or the coast line to Cascais, this is a picturesque costal town with lots of small restaurants and easy access to the beach walk that stretches for 10km in either direction. The frequent rail service can take you to Lisbon (20 mins) or cascais (20 mins). Great views of the ocean and river entrance to Lisbon.

Kitchen is well stocked with applicances, cooking utensils etc. The key collection arrangement was very clear and hassle free. Location superb....over looking a lovely garden, across the street from a lovely small beach, 5 mins walk to train, supermarket etc. We will definitely return!
