Great property. Lots of space. Playroom is incredible and such a great idea. My little one loved it. Great air con. Pool was lovely. Not sure if heated but used at night and was very warm.

If you are wiling to experience the spirit of Alentejo, you will find all of it in Alcácer do Sal. From the landscape, to the great food and wine and especially the warmth of the people. Our house invites you to come with your family, friends or even alone. The house was built in 2009 and has been a weekend and holiday home. It has 3 floors, including an attic, large terraces, a barbecue and a garden all around. You can spend time outside, enjoying an amazing view of the river and the castle or having your meals. The bedrooms are large, the dining/living room is a very spacious open space with a nice fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, microwaves and oven, induction hob, dishwasher, toaster and coffee machine. There is also a laundry with a washing machine and an iron and ironing board.
We are a couple of projects and services' managers with two young children. Our favourite interest is travelling. Besides that we like practising sports such as watercraft riding, skiing, snowboarding and surfing.
Alcácer do Sal is a quiet and historical city south from Lisbon (50 minutes by car) and on the way to the Algarve (1:30 hours by car). The beautiful beaches of Comporta and Tróia, where you can watch dolphins, do nautical sports and surf, can be reached in 20-30 minutes by car. Alcácer's city centre, by the river, is at 10 minutes' walking distance. There are shops, supermarkets, restaurants, bars, a public swimming pool, playgrounds and a skate park. You can walk along the river and go from one side to the other and you can also walk around the walls of the castle and visit a museum where you can find the millenary history of the city. There's a dam and a reservoir 12 km away where you can fish, walk and do nautical sports. We can also organize watercraft rides at the weekends under an additional fee. You will feel the quietness of the surroundings, listen to nature, wake up at the sound of birds and sheep, feel the usually warm climate and forget about stress.
