Stretched along the Oder River in southwest Poland, Wroclaw still remains a relatively undiscovered gem. The city’s stunning architecture, its vibrant cultural scene and popular events have something for everyone.
Severely destroyed in 1945, Wroclaw was beautifully restored and became one of the country’s highlights. Its Old Town, with one of the largest town squares in Europe, attracts tourists with colorful townhouses, cozy pubs and street stalls.
Make sure to visit the Ostrow Tumski, known also as the Cathedral Island, featuring the impressive Wroclaw Cathedral from the mid-10th century and romantic cobblestone streets with oil lamps hand-lit every night. Or visit a famous 360-degree view painting of the Battle of Raclawice - the Raclawice Panorama.
For a breath of fresh air, take a walk in the Szczytnicki Park where the famous Japanese Garden, a remainder from the World Expo held in Wroclaw in 1913, awaits you with its contemplative and quiet atmosphere. This is a great spot to relax before hitting the popular bars and clubs in the center of the city.
If you arrive at Wroclaw International Airport, all major attractions are just a short bus ride away. Whether you're looking for a stylish hotel, a comfortable apartment or a friendly hostel, Booking.com has something perfect for your Wroclaw vacation!
Very beautiful architecture, very friendly, helpful people.
Very beautiful architecture, very friendly, helpful people. The road circling the Old Town is very wide with frightening traffic and far too few crossing points. The crossings also took an eternity to call pedestrians to cross. The car is king which is such a shame, Wroclaw would be almost perfect.

The weather was very warm.
The weather was very warm. We used Bolt app to travel out side the city. Very cheap and efficient. Beautiful places to visit in the city. We found the people unfriendly and very little had English. It's recommended to bring cash but every where we went they didn't have change. There was no customer service or eye contact made with us. It's not well sign posted and everything is in Polish. We would be totally lost without Google maps. It doesn't cater for tourists

There are many young people in the city, pretty old town, there are many things to see, and delicious food to try. We have tried local food in Konspira, it was delicious and authentic. And we were in one of the best rated escape room in the world - Exit19 "Abandoned Hotel". It was an amazing experience!

Coming to Wroclaw for a big project meeting and leaving with many fond memories of the city and our hosts. Exploring the city with a guided tour, was a good way to learn about a friendly welcoming town and its rich history, and it was a great way to learn about Polish cuisine as well.
The city had a relaxed atmosphere on a warm almost summery day in April, and offered many sights to explore and learn more about.

It is a lovely city with nice people.
It is a lovely city with nice people. I especially liked that they have a lot of options for people with food constraints (gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian - all available) both at the restaurants as well as the supermarkets.
It is just lovely to walk around the old town and even towards the Zoo/Centennial Hall. You can also take a day trip or two from Wroclaw, to see some more of Poland but even if you just stay in the city, there is a lot to see for 2-3 days in a relaxed pace. The public transport is excellent with payment being done cashlessly onboard the trams/buses on the tickey machines. So you don't have to worry about changing money if you are coming from outside of Poland. But please be aware that this cashless mode on public transport is only true for Wroclaw. So if you go for day-trips outside, it would be good to have a few zlotys if you want to use the public transport.

Wroclaw is just a really nice city.
Wroclaw is just a really nice city. It is calm and turbulent. The residents all speak english but are delighted if you're able to speak some polish with them, too. Night and day, the city is very beautiful.
The Herbal Hotel is in an excellent location, within a ten minute walk of the Old Town, the street itself hosting a number of restaurants, wine bars and coffee shops. The hotel is fairly new and whilst the decor is very tasteful and contemporary it has retained a sense of the ‘old’ giving a great sense of character. There are very pleasant outdoor seating areas and a wine bar. The two gentlemen serving there were extremely helpful as were most of the reception staff.
The Bridge is modern, fairly new and comfortable. Breakfast was one of the best we had in Poland and Europe overall. The hotel's Craft Restaurant also has wonderfully delicious dishes. Walking distance to the Old Town Center is about 20 minutes. The hotel celebrated our adult son's birthday with a welcome dessert and prosecco which was totally unexpected! Free masks and hand sanitizer were also in every room.
Loved the location of the hotel, just around the corner from Market Square, yet with the window closed it was not noisy at night, plus the air-conditioning was very welcome. The hotel is in a great spot for exploring the city. Bed was comfortable, we had a fridge, coffee-making facilities and a TV. The staff on the front desk were very helpful in answering queries and booking taxis, etc.
Everything was perfect, I had the best sleep in the comfortable bed, staff were lovely and friendly. highly recommend this hotel, the location is also perfect. The tram is right outside the door or you can walk for 15 minutes to reach the market square. There are also lots of shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk.
Good hotel a few steps from the Old Market Square and Ratush, but on a quiet street. The hotel is not new, but everything works very well. Room was very clean. Cleaning was well done every day, staff were very nice and attentive. We had nice view from the window to St. Mary Magdalene Cathedrale. In general we had good stay.
Staff was friendly and hotel was clean and comfortable. Everything was quite close in proximity (from old town to the mall which was literally a walk down the road). Really affordable and good value for your money! Also you could store your luggage there beforehand if needed if you arrived early.
The best apartment in Poland. I had been so many hotels ans hostels and apartments but this one is special. I had wonderful and unforgettable day in there. It's perfect so i was dreaming to buy this apartment and live in this beautiful city. Thank you for cheap price and the best kindness!!!
The hotel is ideally situated in close proximity to Old Town, making it a convenient location for visitors. The pink room that I stayed in was beautifully adorned and spacious. The bed was also large and cosy. The staff at the reception were incredibly friendly and helpful.
Very nice aparthotel in the center of Wroclaw. Spacious rooms. Good breakfast. Central location, walking distance from Old Town.
They have a lot of parking space if you travel by car. And there is an underground parking with many electric vehicle charging stations nearby.
Absolutely lovely. Clean, spacious, lots of light and 30 seconds from the main Market Square .. Supermarket across the road from the flat.
I used to live in Wroclaw so believe me it’s a very good place to hire for your stay in one of the best places in Poland…. 👍👍👍
First of all the location of the hotel in the middle of the center is just perfect. The room was clean and a lot of space. Internet very good. I eat in the restaurant in the evening and the food was more then excellent. I will come back when i have to visit Poland.
Dinner at the restaurant is something worth visiting even without staying in the hotel. The breakfast was an 11 out of 10 too.
The spa is sparkling clean and shiny, not too crowded, and ideally warm for staying there a few hours with a 2-year-old kid.
Modern and spacious rooms. Check in process was quick and smooth, staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating - 5 stars for the customer service. Overall, it is a great hotel, cannot fault anything, will happily stay again.
I liked the beautiful hotel very close to everything in the old town very much. we found the staff warm and helpful. I enjoyed the breakfast and gym, nice big room with a park view. The onsite parking made things easy.
The hotel was very close to the center of the old town which was where the Christmas markets are, which was why we chose it. They provide luggage storage for your check in and check out day.
Best hotel for me in Wroclaw - 1 block to market square, excellent value, great breakfast and spa. Plus a great price. Been a few times and definitely coming back.
Close to Market square..easy walking distance to attraction.
Excellent location for Christmas markets. See outside of your hotel window.
Across from starbuck.
