The town itself is pretty and nice to walk in old town.
The town itself is pretty and nice to walk in old town. It has an olympic ice skating place. There is Bażantarnia Forest which is good for hiking. Also much close to gdansk and other historical castles. You can explore around baltic from this town.

Elblag (Elbling) as a town is outright dissapointing. Yes, there are some nice spots, but there are much nicer places to visit in Poland. The center (old town, nothing old though) is under construction at this moment. Lots of new housing. Nice attempt to build new houses in an old style. But the soul of the city is missing. The apartment is located at the old town where one can chose from variety of restaurants and pubs. It is still accessible with the car but you have to remember to cover a parking fee or as in my case ask the landlady for arranging a private parking spot. This is definitely the place to stay while visiting Elbląg.
