Arequipa er en trivelig by, med mange bra spisesteder (maten i Perú er generelt sett meget bra) de største atraksjon er: Colcadalen, 1 dags tur med bus eller en 2/3 dagers fottur til Colcadalen for sprekeste, ellers passer Arequipa godt inn i en rundtur fra Lima til Cusco, og videre til Machu Picchu, og "Rainbow valley"(tilsammen 6/7 dager) fra Cusco til Arequipa (2/3 dager), til slutt fra Arequipa til Lima, spesiellt Miraflores med sin "malecon", denne lange stripen langs ved Stille havet er rett og slett fantastisk, jeg tror ikke det finnes makan i verden, sykkel og gåstier, parker tennisbaner, lekeparker, surfing, hanggliding med mere, en eldorado for folk flest, beste tid på året for å besøke Perú : Januar, Februar og Mars (da er det sommer i Perú)Petrus JohannesNederland - 8,0Har fått 8,0 i score

Plaza de Armas, galleriene 2 etasje (restaurantene), flott utsikt over plaza`n og den fantastiske katedralen og med vulkanen Misti i bakgrunn. Det finnes ett sted som heter "Capricio" 50 meter fra den stengte porten (buen) i hovedgaten like ved katedralen, dette er egentlig ett sted som er kjent for is og bløtkake, men kjøkkenet deres er noe av dette beste jeg noen gang har vært bort i, spiste der 11x på 14 mulige, fantastisk mat HVER gang. Middag+et glass rødvin og "un cafe con leche" for 100-125 Kroner. Det er lett å ta seg rundt, taxi er billig. Obs! årstidene her er litt forskjellig fra Norge, det best å reise fra slutten av September til slutten av Mars. (vår - sommer). Arequipa er absolutt ett besøk verdig, Viva Perú, lykke til!Petrus JohannesNederland

Hotellet er helt nytt, så alt fra rom til fellesområdet er i veldig god stand. God standard og størrelse på rommet. God seng og veldig god renslighet. Betjeningen var veldig hyggelig og hjalp til med alt de kunne. Frokosten var god og utsikten fra terrassen er helt nydelig. Beliggenheten var også svært god. Man er litt utenfor de verste turistfellene, men har svært kort vei til sentrum og det er flere gode cafeer, puber og restauranter like i nærheten. Anbefales på det varmeste.Alf Robin GNorge
