Everything is so perfect! First of all the owner Juan is super responsible and responsive! He replies fast and helped me organize the pickup and help me the taxi when I leave. Food is included and we also have some activities like take the boat or kayaking around. The view is just perfect and the one of the best i ever had

Great location for a peaceful escape. Super nice host, beautiful room, decoration, and surrounding environment. It is much prettier than the pictures posted on booking. The bed is extremely comfortable. We asked for extra blanket for the smaller bed in the room and the host brought a whole set of wool blankets and quilts. Simple but great breakfast.

They contacted us before our arrival to make sure we were fine. Amalia came to pick up us with the boat to the lodge. Room was huge, everything you might need, super clean and beautiful homemade decoration by them. Food was delicious. Being able to wake up in the middle of Titicaca and see the sunrise and sunset from the room has not price. We are super grateful to meet the family and share unforgettable moments with them. This was the highlight of my visit to Peru. I arrived on the Titicaca train in the early evening, and a driver had been organized to drive me to the local port, where I was escorted by Juan, an exceptional host in every sense of the word, to the island which he and his father had built. During my stay there, Juan invited me on mini tours around some of the islands, where I learned more about Uros culture and history. The Peruvian meals prepared by his wife Amalia were exceptional- always on time, delicious, substantial and inviting. I was never hungry. Juan ensured that my stay at Amalia was truly exceptional and something which I'll never forget- watching the starry nights from a comfortable and warm bed, enjoying the sounds of silence of the lake, being mesmerized by the sunsets, and learning more about the natural beauty and wildlife of the area. This was truly an amazing experience!

Juan Carlos and Amalia are two of the greatest hosts I’ve met. Their attention to details is visible in all aspects, from the decoration in the room, the meals that are served, their punctuality with transporting us by boat to and from all the different places.
