We are a back section, right on Waimairi Golf Course, with a gate thru to course, close to New Brighton Beach. The house is two storeyed, with great views from the bedrooms, or from a balcony on the top floor. The 2 bedrooms are situated upstairs, so very private from the hosts. The bathroom also upstairs is shared by the guests only. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the foyer upstairs, with seating. There is a room downstairs that has a large tv, or a room that can be blocked off for you to relax and watch tv. We are close to the bus route, and there are eating places within a kilometre of our house. Along the road is Bottle Lake Plantation, which has lots of tracks for all grades of bikers, and walkers. New Brighton Beach is also close to our home.

We are situated in a back section, very private, and great views of the golf course. We had many years of hosting overseas students that used to come here for English learning. Gay does a lot of walking, and Bruce is interested in fishing and older cars. We both enjoy gardening and have a caravan which we use quite a bit.

We are situated right on Waimairi Golf Course, and close to New Brighton Beach. There are numerous Mountain Bike and walking tracks just along the road at Bottlelake Plantation. Eating places within 2 kilometres from our place are, One Good Horse, a steak and other meat restaurant, Chinese Takeaways, Indian Restaurant and Fish and Chip shops. We are on a direct bus route to the Palms Shopping Mall, and the city. About 2 kilometres from us is QE2 fun park, consisting of pools, hydroslide, and various other activities.
