Kishor is a great Host and you stay at his place with his family. The best part is probably the view as you can see the sunrise not only from his little rooftop but even from your room window, and if you get lucky you also see the big mountain range including Everest. I had my own little cabin which was very sweet, plus there‘s electricity, good wifi and warm water to shower. Breakfast and Dinner is both included and I enjoyed a very nice Dinner that‘s made with vegetables from his own garden which is right next to the house. For me this was the perfect place to stay outside of Kathmandu for a few days to find a calm and quiet place where I could relax before going trekking soon. But there is also a lot of hiking and trekking options in the area if you‘re looking to do that. Also the town of Nagarkot is just a short walk away. If I get the chance I will definetely come back here! Thanks Kishor!

Kishor is a wonderful host! This is a homestay overlooking the Kathmandu Valley, and you can see the Langtang range well from the property (Everest if not foggy). It is a really good price, and the food was great. They grow their own organic vegetables. They have the best hot water I have experienced in Nepal as it was instantly hot. Nepal is a cold country, especially in the mountains, so it was great he had blankets and also a heater in the room. You can also have a lock for your room. The WiFi works very well, and it was easy to get to the Nagarkot tower. The bus ride from Bhaktapur is 75 rupees for an hour, and you can arrange with Kishor to pick you up from the bus.

Absolutely loved staying with Kishor and Manju! If you’re looking for an authentic stay in Nagarkot, look no further. The family is incredible welcoming and friendly. At night we enjoyed a bonfire. Also dinner was fantastic! Kishor and Manju offer all sorts of activities at a very reasonable price (cooking class, yoga, panoramic hike etc). A home away from home!

Incredible organic food from the farm, sunrise views over 8000m peaks in the Himalaya, an amazing host that helped organize all of our hikes/taxis/etc. Hot (Nepali) shower and all at very very reasonable prices.
