It was raining upon our arrival and the host, Birger met us down the block with and umbrella. Talk about service. Birger walked us to our apartment and spent time informing us all about the apartment even about filling the bird feeder outside our kitchen window. The apartment was so welcoming that we choose to eat our meals there instead of visiting local restaurants. The washer and dryer made it perfect for travelers needing some fresh clothes after many days into a vacation.

The appartment was very well equipped even with apple juice, noodles, rice in the kitchen and an iMac in the living room to look up for example great restaurants in Bergen (an there are plenty!). Great and very friendly host. Will come back!

The location was in very pretty street and is very safe. it is only a short walk from the harbour area and the shops. The apartment was more attractive than the photos indicated and the main room is larger. We were especially impressed by the lengths that our hosts went to provide anything we might need in the way of toiletries or spare towels . The kitchen was very well kitted out with all the utensils one could need and with extra items like spices, oil and pasta. The host was very helpful and took care to show us how to use the washing machine and other aspects of staying in the apartment. We have stayed in apartments while on holiday all over the world for many years now and it is rare to find a place where there is nothing we could suggest that would have improved our stay - expect perhaps t have stayed longer!
