A modern new floating house 18 minutes drive from Bergen. 200 sq.m with 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. You live on the fjord and wake up to the sound of the waves and a stunning view every morning. Treat yourself to an unique experience. You can enjoy fishing, go kayaking, take a morning bath, eat breakfast on the terrace and enjoy proximity to the sea. Holmen at Bjorøy offers excellent fishing opportunities. The floating house is surrounded by authentic fisherman cabins/"rorbu" and a small forrest on the small island.
I would like to welcome you on board! I am 49 years old and I have been living in the beautiful city of Bergen for more than 20 years. I grew up at Geilo, a winter sports resort in the mountains between Oslo and Bergen. I am crazy about modern houseboats and floating homes. I have traveled the world to get inspiration for this floating villa and for a new series of "Yacht House" houseboats. The floating villa was half-finished in Vesterålen in northern Norway and shipped to Bergen where it was completed. I hope to see you on board:)
Holmen island at Bjorøy offers excellent fishing opportunities and a famous sea restaurant. The floating house is surrounded by authentic fisherman cabins (called "rorbu" in Norwegian). Our accommodation offers you a panoramic view of the sea. It`s a perfect starting point for total relaxation or exciting activities, such as: - kayaking - fishing - boat trips - diving - coasteering. An exploration of the coastline of sea level, involving scrambling, swimming and jumping along rocks into the sea. - an unique experience at the Cornelius restaurant.
