Welcome aboard the Amsterdam Houseboat Family! Located in the Jordaan and part of the Amsterdam Houseboat family, Sergio & Tom’s boat offers two self catering studios. This traditional houseboat is situated on a very beautiful canal in the Jordaan, Amsterdam’s most idyllic part of town. Both of these studios, unique in style and size, come with one double bed and ensuite bathroom (shower + toilet), a minibar and small kitchenette, free WiFi, and your own entrance so you can come and go as you please. In the area you are within walking distance to many restaurants, cafe’s and vintage boutique shops. Schiphol Airport is located 11km, approximately 25 minutes by Uber or 35 minutes with public transport. Approximately 1.8 km from Anne Frank House and just a stone's throw away from a very popular local’s market Noordermarkt. Since the rooms are quite different in size and style, please make sure you know which one you are booking. We hope to welcome you soon! The houseboat is situated on the edge of the Jordaan one of the most picturesque areas of Amsterdam, laced with tree lined canals, small streets, full of unique shops, galeries, cafes and delicious restaurants and many terraces where one can sit and and enjoy the wonderful ambience of Amsterdam. Also close by is The Westerpark, a very attractive park and if you walk through the park you will come across the Westergasfabriek an extremely interesting renovated factory from the 19th century which has been transformed into a culture park with many different events taking place. Neighbourhood markets: On the Lindengracht on Saturday and the Westerstraat on Monday morning colourful street markets take place, on Saturdays one can enjoy a delightful farmers market providing delicious biological and organic dutch products and on Monday an interesting, delightful antique market on the Noordermarkt (Northern market). And last but not least is the Sunday market every first Sunday of the month by the Westergasfabriek.
