Great location. Comfortable beds and friendly staff.
Delft is a picturesque Dutch city with canals and historic buildings, situated between Rotterdam and The Hague. Birthplace of the famous Dutch painter Johannes Vermeer, this destination is also home to the iconic Delft blue porcelain and the University of Technology.
Like a phoenix from the ashes, the 17th century Town Hall of Delft was destroyed on 1618 and rebuilt by the architect Hendrick de Keyser. Located across from the City Hall in the centre of the Market square, the Protestant church of Nieuwe Kerk (New Church) with the imposing tower is connected with the Dutch Royal Family.
Resting place for Piet Hein, Maarten Tromp and Johannes Vermeer, the Oude Kerk (Old Church) was built in 1240 and is one of the main landmarks of the city along with the Prinsenhof. Booking.com offers a variety of apartments and hotels in the centre of Delft.
The Delftware factories with the blue ceramics and the hand-painted porcelain are definitely something that travellers should not miss while visiting the Netherlands. Weather permitting, you can enjoy a local beer on a canal terrace.
Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is about 40 minutes away by car or public transport. Delft railway station has train connections to Amsterdam, Utrecht and Leiden.

Beautiful quiet little town midway between two major cities.
Beautiful quiet little town midway between two major cities. Consider staying here if your trip includes time in The Hague or Rotterdam: it's only a 15 minute train ride to either city and much less hectic (and less expensive). Highlight of our trip was climbing the windmill and seeing it actually operated - for free!

The town is so unique, churches to visit and beautiful squares surrounded by restaurants and cafes. Lovely places for brunch in the mornings and for beer in the evenings. The atmosphere in the evenings is wonderful. It is easy to get around on foot. the view from the New Church roof top is spectacular, tho the 300+ steps are not easy. Recommended eateries are Kek coffee and Delfts Brouwhuis

Delft is a nice size, easily walkable for the main part. Train station to the centre is 15-20 minutes maximum. Plenty of hotels, good restaurants of all cuisines, Dutch, Indonesian were ones we tried, but there are French, European, smaller snack-type bistros too. We spent just a couple days in Delft, but the Vermeer Centre and Museum Prinsenhof were well worthwhile, spent most of a day in each. We could have spent longer in Delft.

Central or old Delft is well worth a visit.
Central or old Delft is well worth a visit. It’s on a human scale. The two big churches are beautiful, the working windmill is charming and the Vermeer Centrum is interesting. We particularly enjoyed how peaceful the town is, with great crested grebes, coots and other waterfowl swimming in its serene canals. Cyclists outnumber motorists and the town has a youthful atmosphere owing to the university. Shops and restaurants offer very good products, food and service at reasonable prices. Above all, the people are very helpful and friendly.

Delft is a lovely place and I hope to take my wife next time as the food, bars and atmosphere in the centre was lovely.
The many bars and places to eat will suit most people and they are all (well the ones I tried) were reasonably priced. I will certainly go back again - and hopefully not involving a business trip.

lots of history and wealth, as well as blossoming tech research. loved the climb up the tower of the "new-church", scary, felt like touching the clouds. it was interesting to find out how local politics evolved around water management as a crucial part of life.
It would be hard to find a better location than this canal side hotel on the Oude Delft, which is lined with 18th century buildings. Quieter than most central hotels but just around the corner from the best shops and restaurants and close to Markt and Stadthuis . Our junior suite had a superb view over two canals. The size was generous and offered very good value. Comfortable bed and good breakfast buffet. We were grateful for the fact that it offered secure bike storage in the centre of the city.
Perfect location, very near to the center of Delft. Can only recommend. Breakfast was really super delicious. The room was very interesting. Our children also liked the nice paintings and windmills on the wall. Stuff was also always very friendly. Can only recommend this place. Was fun that the back of the bed could have been lifted up with the remote control.
I really liked the view on the city from our window and the shower with the painting. And in general the style of the hotel.
The room was big, clean and the desk was easy to get work done. The furniture was well spaced out that I didn't bumped into anything. There was ample plugs throughout the room and the bathroom. I love the rain shower and I had a choice whether to use the shower and bathtub. Both the room and the bathroom was well lit. The room had a small balcony and the view from the room faced the street but at night it was quiet. The hotel provided easy access to the plaza and the restaurant.
Excellent location, with 2 of Delft's top-rated restaurants next door and all the city's tourist attractions within walking distance. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. An art movie cinema is situated opposite the hotel. The tram station (Prinsenhof) is a 10 minute walk from the hotel and goes to The Hague Centre and Scheveningen beach. Breakfast is included and the hotel organizes transport if necessary, at a fee.
There was a problem at the hotel so we were relocated to an appartment in the centre of Delft. Location was amazing with everything very accessible and we could also see part of the the market, on the days it was running. We had a lovely view and part of our enjoyment was sitting looking out the window, with the bonus of a nesting crested grebe on the canal. We loved it.
The vibe of the hotel is really nice, with a mix of students, parents and business travelers. It is super conveniently located in front of the train station and 10 minutes by foot from the old Delft city center. The Nespresso machine in the room is the cherry on the pie, not to mention the bed which is super comfortable!
What a wonderful little hotel in a beautiful spot along a small canal in central Delft. The room was charming and super comfortable. The restaurant downstairs was excellent. Evening drinks and music by the canal with locals! Most of all, owner and chef and locals at bar were the real deal. This place has character!
Everything’s just perfect at this canal hotel: location super convenient(to train station or city center), bed is huge and super confortable, the view from our suite is just beautiful, staff is super friendly, there’s even a well equipped kitchen in the room, what else can I ask for??!!
A very well designed boutique hotel in a great location. The hotel has lots of character is stylish & extremely comfortable & in a great location. The staff were incredibly friendly & helpful.
Really nice choice for breakfast, a true gem when visiting delft. Highly recommend
We liked mostly everything about the hotel. While it was outside the city of Delft, the shuttle bus was a great deal for 5 Euros each. It ran regularly until 5 PM & was available when we needed it. It eliminated the hassle of finding parking in the city.
The location was great a 20 min walk to Delft city centre close to the highway so easy to get to if you travel by car. The shower pressure was the best we have had and the room had aircon great for the hot weather, the staff werre friendly
Our first stop in a 12 day trip experiencing the Netherlands and Belgium. It was just what we needed to acclimate ourselves to the new time zone. Bonus was the outdoor restaurant adjacent to the inn. And a short drive to Delft.
The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean, even quite small. We haven't tried the breakfast. Good location considering our area of interest (TU Delft campus). For sure we will stay again at this hotel.
Great, free and plenty of parking in front of the hotel. Excellent breakfast. Rooms were clean and modern. 20 Mins walk into the city centre of Delft. Ikea right next door :-). Staff were super friendly.
Amazing hotel in an historic building. The entire staff were helpful and very friendly. It was a joy to look out at the canal and feel transported to 17 century Delft.
