It’s hard to summarize how perfect this hotel was for our first visit to Amsterdam! Truly fantastic location (and walkable from train station!) Our room had a charming view over a small street and was so comfortable. Very luxurious sheets, pillows etc. The hotel itself was impeccable - lovely restaurant, bar, and lobby. The staff impressed me with their knowledge and friendly advice. They were able to check us in early at no charge and made every effort to make our visit comfortable, effortlessly switching to perfect English. They made several recommendations for dining and logistics for our departure. Spa was beautiful and relaxing - such a great way to unwind after traveling!! Fabulous in every way!

Close to the airport, was there for a one-night stay, just to catch our flight the next day. The first room we got smelled like sewage, hence why we contacted the reception, received a new room, which was dirty, hence why we for the second time contacted the reception. This time we got a room that was okay. We also got hot chocolate as compensation, sadly the hot chocolate from the machine tasted absurdly bad, so we did not drink it.
The room had a leakage from the sink, made a small pound on the floor. The shower i separated from the toilet - pretty weird choice architecture-wise

I liked the space of the room ,comfort of the bed bathtub big and clean, swimming pool and sauna , existence of a kettle and a choice of teas and some good shops near the hotel, the shuttle service- do not make money on it please, you will lose clients for future and existence of sports facilities nearby.
I would recommend you to organize a small library in the hall at least in English and add some English-speaking channels more interesting like BBC 1 AND ONE ITALIAN, SPANISH , GERMAN then I will always choose you Ramada

A nice place, if a little far from the city centre by public transport (45-60 minutes). Lack of clarity over how the public transport system operates (different between Amsterdam city centre & outer regions) didn’t help.

What I liked was the quiet relaxed atmosphere, no disturbances after about ten\11 pm. The lovely canals with the many house boats. Easy access to the center\shops though you will need to rent a bike.
Meaning if you wish to be self supportive, otherwise there are enough options for eating out.
They also have a very lovely lounge. Staff are very friendly, laundry you can do for free but remember to bring some washing powder yourself if you need to do any laundry.
Its a great place but you have to be willing to do a bit of walking or biking. If youre fine with this it can be a place for you
We were traveling through Amsterdam to Rotterdam to embark on a cruise. We have stayed at IBIS Budget hotels in the past and knew what to expect. This is a "budget" hotel, no belles and whistles, just a clean room and bath. After our flight from the US, just needed a place to rest and sleep for the night. The restaurant is in the an adjoining IBIS hotel and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in a buffet style. Breakfast was included and dinner was priced reasonably. There is a free hotel shuttle, which we took advantage of.
Very helpful staff who speak English brilliantly!
My daughter and her friend and I, loved the evening buffet the 1 night we went and the breakfast is good value and there was a massive selection of hot and cold food and drinks.
"Big up" to the tall lady chef, she was so very nice!
And all the restaurant staff were really good.
The free bus is also useful as we got the bus to Schiphol, train to Centraal and had a night out in Amsterdam then go the train back and got the bus back to hotel.
Can't wait to go back!
I stayed at this hotel twice, both when arriving and departing on my trip. The airport shuttle is convenient, and is also available to take you to the Museumplein in Amsterdam for 10 euros. I wish I had stayed here more days while in Amsterdam, rather than the old hotel in the city center which was high priced and depressing. I was so relieved to check in before departure, for a great hot shower after a bad experience elsewhere.
On my first stay, I ate dinner at the hotel buffet which was very good.
A fabulous early 20th century house, wonderfully positioned on a dyke at the edge of Amsterdam with a lovely view of the polder canal, and with easy access to Schiphol Airport. The place has been fully renovated in a modern distressed style that works very well with the original character of the house. Generously sized living areas and kitchen made the stay very comfortable. On- and off-street parking was a bonus this close to Amsterdam.
We booked a triple room, but were accommodated in an apartment, which was spacious and well equipped. The hotel facilities were great, and we really enjoyed the Sky Bar.
There is a convenient free bus Schiphol, from which you can take a train to Amsterdam.
The buffets for dinner and breakfast seemed expensive, but were absolutely value for money and left us very well fed. We were all thrilled!
I wrote a detailed review about my previous stay in this hotel, and for this stay everything was still perfect as it is always at this hotel! once again Mrs. Jill and her team were very hospitable, very rich and diversified breakfast, effective shuttle service for both Schiphol airport and Amsterdam city center, definitely will stay here whenever I come to Amsterdam
Overall nice hotel, everything was clean, good value for the price. I was travelling alone and I felt safe. I appreciate the hotel-airport shuttle, even though for the way back to the airport you pay a fee of 5€, it's still better than taxi. Wide variety of food for breakfast. I would come again if I had to stay near Schiphol airport.
Standard Ibis Budget. Large room, good bed and pilow, tiny bathroom. Good shuttle service to airport running from 5:20 am to midnight. There is a local bus station at 3 minutes walk from hotel with bus directly to Amsterdam city center (a bus every 8 minutes), so you don´t need to go back to airport to catch a train to Amsterdam.
The hotel is nearby Schiphol airport, and it provides free shuttle to and from the airport. Amsterdam Central is only 5 stations away from the airport so travelling around Amsterdam city is such a breeze. The hotel also offers free hot drinks at the lobby and have self service laundry at the lobby for 12€.
Excellent for a short stay between 2 flights, 1, 2 nights. The shuttle works ok. The bus to Amsterdam is within 10 mins distance, directly to Museum Plain. We had an excellent view to the little parc next to the hotel, we enjoyed looking at a family of hares :)) several times in the day.
Convenient and economic hotel near the airport. There was a shuttle bus every hour going back and forth to the airport. Perfect for an overnight transfer at Schiphol airport
the shuttle bus is a great perk of this hotel going to and from airport. the hotel was clean and quiet. nice place to stay on a layover at Schiphol airport.
