Flanked by the Namib Desert and the savannah, this combination of mountains and woodlands has given rise to a great diversity of animals and plant life, many of which are endemic to the area. Omaruru is home to one of the four wineries in Namibia, the Kristall Kellerie Boutique Winery. Travellers are welcome to visit and enjoy a glass of wine. The town also offers a number of small coffee shops and cafes. Here our long sunny days promise hours of exploring and relaxation.
