It's not a place if you don't speak Spanish. I got on the beach and I could not get off because there was no exit to get off it was all private with fences. No seemed to speak English or help. It's not friendly and very aggressive to you as you walk through areas. Better figure out how to get. Pesos and then figure out how to use them. Very disappointed for a place that hardly anyone knows English for a place like Cancun.

This is absolutely my favorite spot to vacation .. the people, the beaches, the weather .. it is just so beautiful. At no time did I ever feel unsafe. We took buses, taxis, and walked places and had no problems at all. Xcaret is a must - the wildlife and natural beauty is breath taking. We ate at our resorts most of the time, but we did go to a couple little taco spots. Everything was good. We visited Juarez Beach, Isla Mujeres, Playa del Carmen, and ventured to some cenotes. The people are absolutely awesome and truly treat you like "familia" if you show them you are interested in them and their culture.

Everything was perfect.
Everything was perfect. During our trip we visited Tulum, Playa del Carmen, Cozumel and Cancun.
The 2nd day we took an amazing snorkeling tour in PC and the 3rd day we went to Xcaret…the most amazing place that has everything. My favorite part…Mexico Spectacular Show 😍😍😍!
The last 2 day in Cancun we stayed in the hotel and its beach and we had a walk to the night club area and restaurants.
We did something different everyday, including where and how we ate. Some days we cooked in our hotels because it’s pretty easy to get groceries or to eat in a local market!
We were really tired the last days but I didn’t want to go back home yet, I still wake up at home wishing I could go out to enjoy that surprisingly spectacular landscape!
Everybody can see there’s never enough time to know everything The Riviera Maya offers!!

Cancun is beautiful.
Cancun is beautiful. The beaches are amazing and the nightlife was so fun. I enjoyed the street food and drinking margaritas. Be selective of where you book your stay. My hotel was unfriendly (Adhara Hacienda) to me. They ruined my trip. Do not book here!

Be aware that some places in Cancun are getting a tourist trap. The city is getting more and more visited and some areas are fully packed and impossible to get though. Chose carefully your stays and beaches to visit (north is always a good option)
It was a very easy and nice place to stay for one night before taking our plane from the international airport at Cancún. It's not a hotel where you'd stay for a week due to its location. It's in a safe but not super nice neighborhood. The purpose of this hotel to be located where it is located is that it's close to the airport so it makes it easy to catch an early plane or go to bed quickly when you land late at night. It has a swimming pool, a nice garden, it's super pleasant. It's only 6kms away from the airport.
The location is suitable for people who want the vibe of a hotel with a personal touch. There's a small kitchenette with salt, pepper and oil. They also have pots, plates and cutleries to make it easy to make a meal yourself. It is self-service, so you're given a code, and once you come in, you sort everything else yourself. There is no room service available. They have a fridge with some water and drinks available. The area is close to the airport in Cancun. It is a good value for money.
A charming boutique hotel in a good location, just off the main hotel zone. Easy access to Isla Mujeres, Cancun city centre and the shops and restaurants of the hotel zone. Stunning lagoon views from many rooms and pool area. The rooftop terrace served drinks in the evenings at sunset, which was a nice surprise. Morning coffee is available at the hotel and breakfast can be bought at the shop around the corner. A warm recommendation for this hotel!
My first experience at an all-inclusive resort was at the Grand Park Royal Cancun and I left it very dissatisfied. Firstly, it is an all inclusive hotel, but they are always trying to sell you something extra. It gets to be embarrassing. Secondly, the food in the restaurants is poor. thirdly, the pool is small and has few sun loungers. A lot of people want to put their towel on the sand. The service also lacks friendliness.
It's a beautiful hidden gem in the heart of Cancun downtown, away from the predictable hotel zone, with real people living and loving. The area has everything you'll need and has great connection if you're taking a tour or commute to the airport. Hotel has a beautiful garden with a pool, host is most gracious and helpful. Breakfast is delicious and healthy.
walking distance to Cancun airport terminal 2, very handy for an early morning flight - no need to worry about arranging a car transfer. liked the hotel design. didn’t have a chance to use the pool as it was raining, but looked pretty cool. restaurant was good and service from the staff there was excellent.
We only stayed for one night as we flew into Cancun late and were headed to Tulum. It was long enough though to see how beautiful the hotel is!! The garden is stunning and the staff are really friendly. It is a short drive from the airport but really peaceful. It's a shame we didn't stay longer.
Great location away from hotel zone. Serene setting. Superb staff and facilities. All inclusive. Preferred club amazing. Clean rooms with comfy beds. Option for in room pool. Nice shower and amenities. Everything on site: activities, food, shopping, beach, large public pool. No need to go outside.
Great location in the parties area, the staff are very friendly, specially Zanabria. He is a good server at the dinner restaurants. My room had a nice sea view and very clean. The resort is very clean and 4 beautiful pools. I stayed there for 5 days as a VIP all inclusive. I love Cancún.
They had good hospitality. Explanation at the first time was very clear and showed restaurant, pool area and more in the hotel was super helpful.
We got good deal for all inclusive for 24 hours and we got 2 times dinner, breakfast, lunch and drinks at the bar. We loved staying there.
The all inclusive was all worth it. I like that the hotel in itself was a vacation as whole. They have different activities to entertain you within the hotel vicinity. The staff were friendly. The food was great and most of all the alcoholic drinks were extra good.
Gorgeous calm swimmable beach, lovely 2 pools, white sand like silk. Clear, clean ocean. Calm atmosphere. Not an all inclusive party. Bus stop right in front of hotel to take bus to other areas or restaurants. Nice gym. Great breakfast. The best value in Cancun
beautiful hotel in a newly developed area. not a lot around but if you don’t like all inclusive it’s a good choice. People were friendly. Room was large and well decorated. amazing shower. great gym. the pool is stunning.
Nice hotel in a relatively central position (if you have the car to move). Great as a stopover hotel if you need to catch a flight from Cancun Airport, 20mins max travel time to CUN. Breakfast is good with good options.
The location is great, especially for those who are gonna travel by land the next morning and planning to stay near the airport for a night. Price for the food is expected as its not an all inclusive hotel.
Location is very convenient. Hotel is opposite to Cancun Ado station which provides easy transportation to airport and other parts of the city.
Ala carte breakfast was very good.
I choose the hotel because it was ALL INCLUSIVE (Free drinks, breakfast, lunch, dinner, all day/night); upon arrival reception told me it was only Breakfast. I changed hotels.
All inclusive is the way to go! Clean pool and beach, nice weather, great restaurants and great food. Will come again with family. Thank you to Occidental costa Cancun..
Staff was amazing ! Very friendly and accommodating! I will be booking with them when I visit Cancun again! Food and beverages were delicious for an all inclusive!
