Nice room and shower area. There was no door on bathroom - it’s tucked around the bedroom which was fine for us, but may not be ideal for others. We received a ride to the airport from the host very early and she was so pleasant.

I booked this room the night before a flight out of Cancun because of its proximity to the airport (about 10 minutes by car). The room was brand spanking new, immaculately clean, modern, peaceful, and quiet. I had read all of the excellent reviews but was still surprised at the quality of the room given the reasonable price I paid. The owner, Yidira, is a lovely hospitable woman who has the means to get you to or from the airport for far less than what you would pay a random taxi. I have already recommended Closetotheairport to friends, who, like me, were looking for quality in a conveniently located accommodation.

The room and shower were very comfortable and allowed me to have a solid night’s rest before a long travel day. The location made it easy to get to the airport in the morning via Uber. But above everything, the host, Yadira, was an angel who went above and beyond to help me get to her property when taxis refused to go there late at night.

For our second stay at this place we picked a different room. It was comfortable and in the owner's house. The place is a perfect location for a night before or after a Cancun flight. The owner did me the favor of ordering some dinner so we did not have to go back out after our long day of travel. Thank you so much for that! Wifi was good too. There was a shared space with a TV, but we elected to not to use it.
