It's easy to reach other locations from Gzira by bus or ferry. City itself is not super beautiful, it has a nice coast but architecture-wise it's a lot of everything but other cities were way more beautiful. But the positive side of this is that it's cheaper to stay there as in other areas.

Getting around Il-Gżira is convenient thanks to its compact size and accessible transportation options. Walking is ideal for exploring local attractions, while public buses and taxis offer easy access to neighboring areas and tourist spots. While Il-Gżira has much to offer, visitors should be mindful of crowded areas along The Strand, especially during peak tourist seasons. Exercise caution against pickpocketing in crowded spots and avoid swimming in unauthorized areas for safety reasons.

Well connected local area, easy access to eveything. Ferry to Valetta very easy, regular busses. A nice waterfront and you can walk in different directions and see so much. We had lovley weather, not too hot.

Great neighborhood, lots of restaurants, grocery stores, shops, very walkable. Busses are a few blocks away and there is street parking if you can find it but I’d not choose to drive. Easy to get to Valletta, much more difficult to get to the ferry to Gozo. Go to Mdena, it’s amazing. Wander round Valletta. Stay longer than you think as there is lots to see and do. Great country! Ali Baba is a great Lebanese restaurant in the hood. Lunch at Grain, a Michelin Bib, is an excellent value and a terrific meal.

People in Gzira are very friendly, theres a lot of restaurant and the ambience is totaly fabulous. I recomend you to visit that place, its connected to Sliema and Saint Julian. Stay in Shore bridge hotel, and try the delicious CInabbon.DennisSpain - 10Scored 10

Great to have the ferries so close, so a ferry tour with iSeeMalta to Gozo and Comino is totally worth every cent. There are so many restaurants and pubs in the main street for everyone's taste. Promenade was lovely, with a view of Valletta and a nice bay area. If you're in doubt, where to stay, I would recommend this area - compared to Valletta there's a bit less tourists, so more space to move around and a bit more greenery, also better access to other parts of the islands without sitting in traffic too long.MailisEstonia

There is a 24/7 market right next to the hotel and also pharmacy is on the same street. The room was large enough and we also had a living room that was nicely equipped with all necessary stuff. The only weird thing was the kitchen aspirator which worked but the ventilation wasn't connected to anything :D We had two ACs in each room and two toilets. It was very clean room.
