We recently had the pleasure of staying at the seafront hotel situated in the heart of Malta's coastal resort of Sliema, and we would rate my experience 8/10. The hotel's location is outstanding, offering breathtaking views and easy access to the vibrant surroundings. The staff was friendly, and the service was generally excellent.
The hotel's popularity is well-deserved, considering its prime location and amenities. While there were a few minor areas where improvements could be made, such as in-room facilities, my overall stay was enjoyable and memorable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Malta.

We loved the fact that the property is close to multiple bus stations at which many buses arrive. We especially adored our staff who let us refill our water bottles every single day and were so nice about it and made us feel super comfortable. Our favorite part was a waitress called Sandra who had a really nice chat with us at breakfast, she served us coffee super fast and gave us recommendations about the Island. We loved her so much!

I liked the location and the night shift staff help and friendliness.
But the day team is really bad and do not do their job properly.
They do not give the same facilities they show you on website and online.
Water flow is really bad for all the showers and taps when you come back from a long beach day!!
although paid for the swimming pool facility they do not offer you the pool asking extra money for the family.
Very bad comparing to price we have paid.

It's easy to reach other locations from Gzira by bus or ferry. City itself is not super beautiful, it has a nice coast but architecture-wise it's a lot of everything but other cities were way more beautiful. But the positive side of this is that it's cheaper to stay there as in other areas.

Il-Gżira charms visitors with its scenic waterfront...
Il-Gżira charms visitors with its scenic waterfront promenade, The Strand, offering stunning views of Marsamxett Harbour. Independence Gardens provide a tranquil oasis amidst the urban bustle, while Duck Village adds a quirky touch appreciated by nature lovers.
Getting around Il-Gżira is convenient thanks to its compact size and accessible transportation options. Walking is ideal for exploring local attractions, while public buses and taxis offer easy access to neighboring areas and tourist spots.
While Il-Gżira has much to offer, visitors should be mindful of crowded areas along The Strand, especially during peak tourist seasons. Exercise caution against pickpocketing in crowded spots and avoid swimming in unauthorized areas for safety reasons.

Great neighborhood, lots of restaurants, grocery stores, shops, very walkable. Busses are a few blocks away and there is street parking if you can find it but I’d not choose to drive. Easy to get to Valletta, much more difficult to get to the ferry to Gozo. Go to Mdena, it’s amazing. Wander round Valletta. Stay longer than you think as there is lots to see and do. Great country! Ali Baba is a great Lebanese restaurant in the hood. Lunch at Grain, a Michelin Bib, is an excellent value and a terrific meal.

People in Gzira are very friendly, theres a lot of restaurant and the ambience is totaly fabulous. I recomend you to visit that place, its connected to Sliema and Saint Julian. Stay in Shore bridge hotel, and try the delicious CInabbon.
Super nice employees. We were greeted at breakfast by the hotel manager, asked so many times if we need anything, if we do enjoy our stay
Breakfast was divers and full of option for every taste
Very quiet surrounding, but the elevator was talking (naming the floors) and since we were next to it, we can hear it. But other that this, it was so quiet, that during the mornings we can hear the roosters from a near by garden (we were at level 13).
I really like the fact the apartment had pretty much everything we needed for cleaning, washing, and cooking (just wish a cutting board was there to prevent chopping on the beautiful counters). Besides that it felt very homey, and also very clean, it's just like home it is on the pictures. Also the host was amazing. Definitely looking to book it again if it's available during the next time we decide to visit Malta.
We really loved our stay at Urban Isle Hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Also, the room was very tidy and modernly equipped. The breakfast was indeed very good, tasty and fresh. The Hotel was 1 min far from a bus station that took us to Valleta or to Sliema or up on the island. Great location, great sorroundings with plenty of restaurants to choose from.
VelaBlu is a beautiful guesthouse with spacious common areas, as well as the spacious room in which we were accommodated. It is decorated with a lot of taste, everything is stylistically coordinated and leaves an impression of luxury. We felt very comfortable. We enjoyed VelaBlu Boutiques and would definitely recommend it to anyone coming to Malta.
Hotel is part of groups NEU Collective and there is a lot of content. You can use pool on the roof, pool near the sea, spa… Everything is great and rooms was very clean every day. Location is great, very close to Valletta and St. Julians where is very popular for young people. Next time when I will visit Malta, I will booking same hotel!
The hotel is situated in a good location, close to bus station and many shops and restaurants. Rooms are big, modern and most importantly very clean.
Breakfast is simple (more English style) but sufficient.
Staff is very polite and friendly.
If I return to Malta, I would definitely chose this hotel again.
Amazing hotel,Excellent location and breathtaking view from the terasse. The staff was helpful and kind.I got a little suprise for my birthday. If I go to Malta in the future,i will definetely choose only this hotel.I would like to recommend it to everybody.
New modern hotel with a great location for Malta exploring: bus station right across the street, Valletta is 5 min by taxi or you can take a bus or a ferry, it’s 15 min from the place. Check-in was super clear and easy too. Much recommended place to stay!
Hi Guys i have stayed in St Hotels many times always very good here in Malta but its like Travel lodge style like uk but good price and clean , and there staff are a Credit to the Company its not the Hilton but its very good indeed and clean
The breakfast was great value for money. Everting from continental to full English, the location of the hotel is excellent there a bus stop outside so good access to the rest of Malta, also a 5 minuwalk to the ferry to Valletta
This hotel is excellent. Big, spacious room for the price, and the staff are helpful and responsive. Good location about 9 minutes walk to the main street in Gzira, which makes it very accessible to other attractions in Malta!
We've stayed there for 1 night because our flight got cancelled so it was quite close to move from the Malta airport to this hotel but there is nothing else that would encourage me to recommend it. sorry
The hotel is located near the bus station and near many restaurants and Sliema ferry, which was very good for our travel plans. The hotel staff was supportive and always positive.
Perfect location to visit Malta, very well connected and close to all “must see” places. Great breakfast (with top view on Valletta bay) and services (pool, gym, sauna)
Great location, very clean rooms.
They have a contract with a very nice pool that’s just 2-minute walking distance from the hotel and it’s included for the guests.
Location is maybe not the best one but in Malta everything is so close so it's better to be a little bit away. Bed was one of the best that I had in my travels.
