Green Garden Resort is a perfect place to stay in Habarana. The environment and the atmosphere helped us to relax. The garden of this hotel is very beautiful. The hotel is well situated, being close to shopping, transport, and the tourist sites. The room was very pleasant, it was cozy and clean. A good smell came from the room. Breakfast was excellent and incredibly varied. Not only breakfast but also lunch & dinner can be had here at a low cost. The hotel team has always been friendly, patient and helpful. That impressed me the most. No matter what time of day or night, you could turn to them with all your concerns. They arranged my all tours with lowest cost than elsewhere (including Pidurangala, Dambulla, Village tour & Elephant safari). They washed my clothes in lowest cost. The price performance ratio is very good. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone. On my next stays, I will definitely check into Green Garden Resort again.

Small room, air conditioned and with a mosquito net. Bathroom was clean, shower worked great. Everything one would need for a one night stay with only light baggage. The host recommended us to watch the sunrise on Pidurangala, which was a great recommendation, and he got up very early in the morning to serve us breakfast before we went. The driver we booked through the hotel was very friendly and considerate. Additional charges for the driver were clearly communicated up-front.

A place where you feel at home! The rooms and bathrooms are very clean, Rathnayake and his family are some of the nicest people I have ever met, and their cooking is delicious! You will also appreciate the calm of the place and the beauty of the garden. I can only recommend spending a night at their place to anyone in the Habarana area 🙌🏼

I felt safe staying in their home, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling solo or on a budget. Oh and the breakfast is lovely! the garden is unbelievable, so many beautiful plants; we have tried passion fruit right from the tree, also bananas, mango and wood apple(juice) from the host garden; breakfast and dinner was delicious; family was very friendly; location is convenient if you planning to visit several places(Anuradhapura, Polunaruwa, Sigiria and/or Ritigala, Dambula, etc), all of them are up to 90 minutes drive by tuktuk; there are also several places to eat outside if you want + small department store in 10 minutes walk from the property
