The hosts are amazing and super welcoming. Clean and neat room with a beautiful mountain view. They told us where to go in the city and where to eat during our short stay. Helped us with the train to Ella and the best way to experience it. Highly recommended! Will definitely go back again if I revisit the city and one of the best places I stayed in Sri Lanka.

Incredibly happy that we chose to stay here with Oshana and his family. They presented a lovely room and access to the downstairs area where they prepared traditional tasty Sri Lankan Breakfast and Dinner. The room was really clean! Additionally, they connected us with great chaps who took care of our transport needs to all locations including inside Kandy as-well as Sigiriya and Nuwara Eliya!

Breakfast was fantastic and even provided a take away breakfast when we left early morning. They assisted with tuk tuks and tours and provided information on things to do in the area. Host family is so friendly and lovely, the guest house is located up on the hills so you have privacy with breathtaking views from Kandy. So comfy and quiet, ideally if you are looking for a place to disconnect and enjoy singing birds during the day. Highly recommend and with a beautiful view. P.S: little birds as well as monkeys might join you for breakfast in the morning :)

the room was clean, spacious, the bed very comfortable. the bathroom looks newly renovated, everything spotless. it has a big terrace facing the tropical forest. at night you will hear how alive the forest is! - crickets, night birds, it is really amazing! it is located up on a hill, so no street noises. it is a 10-15 min drive with tuk-tuk from the city. the owner and his family were very welcoming and helped us with everything - tuk-tuk, trip to a tea factory and plantation, he even reserved tickets for us for the Kandy to Ella train, which we really appreciated, since it wasn’t possible for us to do that in advance. Definitely recommend this!

Very nice family, excellent homemade breakfast, especially juices and local pancakes, modern bathroom, great view from the room with squerells and birds. Beds are really comfortabel, AC, fan etc. Locationis even more beautiful as in the pictures. Highly recommend place.

Oshan and his family were absolutely lovely. I messaged Oshan ahead of our stay and he helped coordinate a great itinerary, including a city tour, hike near knuckles conservation area and a trip to Pidurangala Rock and Dambulla temple. As others have said, the house is a tuktuk ride from central Kandy, but once you arrive you'll realise why that's a very good thing! A return trip was 1,000rps (c. £2.50) and we managed to have the same great driver each day - thanks Siril! Breakfast was delicious with a shout out to the coconut roti and the hoppers were the best we've had and inspired me to buy a hopper pan before returning to the UK to try and recreate them!
