Really neat experience to get an idea about traditional...
Really neat experience to get an idea about traditional Korean architecture and clothes. Obviously, the town has modernized to have coffee shops, etc., but the buildings in the city center have been maintained in a traditional style, and the popularity of renting the traditional Korean clothing lends a unique atmosphere.
We visited the Shrine, highly recommended. Nothing exotic, but good information about that time in Korean history and some of the events that made Jeonju what it is.
Some really great restaurants, look up best places to eat in Jeonju, we tried 3 out of the top 10 and were super pleased with all 3.
The traditional Hanok was a unique place to stay that was an inexpensive way to experience a little of what traditional homes were like. Obviously converted to hotel-type rooms, but the idea was there and it was a fun way to spend a weekend.
Highly Recommend!!

This was a really great opportunity to experience a historic aspect of South Korea. I enjoyed staying in a Hanok and I did a photoshoot in the Hanbok. It was like walking around on the set of a period piece.

Jeonju Hanok Village is a really nice place to visit, don't hesitate to get lots in the small narrow streets. Take half a day to visit Jamal Mural Village, it worth it for the paintings on the houses.
To eat I would recommand Jeondong Ddeokgalbi and Veteran restaurants, first one for bibimbap and 2nd for noodles and dumplings.

Nice mid sized city with a bit of open space along the river. Jeonju Hanok Village is worth a visit. Real touristy place but loads of people dressed in Hanbok so great place for people watching. Plenty of touristy souvenir shops if thats your thing. Plenty of Westeners and Chinese tourists dressed up in Hanboks which added to the people watching experience.

The Hanok Village is awesome and the Rail Bike as well.
The Hanok Village is awesome and the Rail Bike as well. It's very quiet and the public transpo is not really that accessible if you stay in The Hanok Village. Most of the restaurants are closing earlier.

One of my favourite places in Korea.
One of my favourite places in Korea. I studied here for a year, and it was the most amazing year of my life. The Hannok Village is stunning, and the food is amazing in Jeonju. I also recommend visiting Nambu night market, and Jaman Mural Village. There is no subway but there are lots of buses and taxis, so it's very easy to get around. You can charge a T Money card at any convenience store. Overall, I highly recommend Jeonju if you're looking to relax.
lovey stay at the traditional hanok house in Jeonju. The owners were incredibly accommodating, even providing a 110V transformer she borrowed from her friend so that we can charge our electronics from United States. the room and bathroom were clean and we slept very well. our family enjoyed sitting around the front porch of the house seeing the swallows flying around. We also had one of the best meals in South Korea just next door to the property. a lovely guesthouse.
1. Location
The hotel was located right next to the Hanok Village
2. Staff
The staffs were really kind and even provided me lists of Do's and Don'ts
3. Breakfast
Not that bad but not that excellent
4. Cleanliness
Even the place is a bit old but the cleanliness is very tip top
5. Comfort
The Super air Conditioning and the traditional mattress
Really nice guesthouse.
The Hanok villages and most tourist attractions from Jeonju are just 10min around by foot.
You can as well take several buses to go further away.
The location is really perfect.
The room was clean and the owner was wonderful (showed us how and we're to see around and even tip us where to go eat. He also got good English)
Conveniently located near the Hanok village and morning/night market. Spacious room and bathroom. Being on the ground floor would be good for those wanting to avoid a lot of stairs. Person working was very friendly and helpful regarding nearby attractions (market).
host is v friendly. we depart jeonju on a weekend, taxis is not allowed into the Hanok village. we were prepared to tug our luggages to the nearest bus stop. we were surprised our host offered to drive us to train station. v thankful for his kind gesture 🙏
The cafe was great. Within walking distance of good hanbok rental places for Hanok Village. Amazing cafe nearby: exit hotel, turn left, walk straight, turn left, walk down the road towards Hanok Village, cafe is 3F on the left with the heart decor.
Love it that I just have to cross the bridge and I reach Hanok Village. Nambu Market is walkable distance as well. Staff were really friendly and nice too. Many food restaurants nearby as well. Will choose this hotel again if I ever come back.
The location is good, right in front of Jeonju Hanok Village. Facilities are good, room was warm (I stayed in autumn) and everything was kept clean. The owner is so good, he gave tourist attractions map and explains everything in details 👍🏻
Hanok with traditional atmosphere in a very convenient location, very close to the main attractions in Jeonju.
Good breakfast. Very friendly and helpful host, who also booked a taxi for us and took us to the exact spot where it arrived.
The guesthouse is situated just a 3mins walk from the heart of the Jeonju Hanok Village but in a quiet alley away from the noise. Most of the guests we have met at the guesthouse have been friendly as well.
Amazing location, traditional house in the middle of the Jeonju Hanok village. Comfortable room. The host provided information on how to get the house and some extra information about local restaurants.
We loved the location, it is in the most beautiful street of Jeonju Hanok Village, and the breakfast was amazing! The owner was very nice and the room was clean. The air conditioning works perfectly.
The host is very fast response and accommodative. It’s a value for money, I got every necessary things needed. Close to the hanok village and the bus stop. Overall I was satisfied with the place.
Very well situated, right in the centre of the Hanok village, on a quiet street and close to everything. It was very clean and the house has everything you need.
Walking distance to Hanok Village. Convenience store and Jeonju Chocopie right across the street. Very nice hanok. Clean. Lovely cat. Friendly and helpful host.
