The showers were clean, everything was impeccable. Host was very friendly, definitely a place to stay again. Very close to metro station.

So I stayed here for 2 weeks, & I personally found it to be pretty good for the value. I liked that each bed had good privacy curtains, working outlets, personal light (to note, the light is bright. I didn't like using it at night because it was so bright but that's personal preference) & a clothes rack between the beds so if your stuff got wet while out or if you decided to do some laundry you could hang them up to dry. I don't know if this is a pro or a con or just coincidental, but I didn't find this to be a very social hostel. There weren't any social activities offered on or offsite which is fine but it might have been nice to have had the option? Either way, again, wasn't that important of a factor for me. I liked that people left you alone & despite being in a 18 bed dorm I never had issues using the bathroom or shower. I also enjoyed the umbrellas you can use. Talked a little bit with the owner who seems very nice.

Gen-san at the front desk is awesome. He helped me so much figuring out what to do in Hokkaido. Everything was nice and clean. The bedding is a Japanese style futon as in most hostels in Japan. The location is right by the tail end of Odori park.

Location in quiet alley near multiple transportation options is a plus, two-person room option was nice. The price was much more reasonable than other Sapporo places available on short notice.

The owner is very kind. I told him I was planning on skiing at one of the local resorts in the city, and he offered to drive and join me. The place is clean and affordable, so for a guesthouse it hits all the right marks. Its location might seem less ideal than some other areas in the heart of downtown, but for me it was perfect. Walking 15 minutes through the beautiful central park was nice to get a feel of the city, and I got to see more of the town that way.

The hostel owner was incredibly helpful and friendly, and fluent in English. I reached out via LINE about dropping my luggage off before the check-in time and he kindly gave me instructions on how to do so. When I checked in later that evening he kindly shared some extra information about the snow festival that was super cool!

Close to the center and to the train station. Clean and very convenient. The prices are cheap, it is perfect for a student ! I had a problem on my reservation and the owner was very nice with me even though I made a mistake. He will help every traveler to feel comfortable during their stay.

The owner was very helpful when we arrived early. We were able to drop our bags and then go out exploring. The kitchen and communal space was large and clean. The bathrooms were clean. The twin room was bunkbeds which is fine for us, but if you don't like climbing a ladder to bed it's not for you! Great value for money, I would definitely stay here again.
