Kiyomizu Machiya Inn is a Japanese-style machiya townhouse located in the highly sought after historical neighbourhood of GION-NINENZAKA, voted the No.1 area for tourists to stay in Kyoto. It's a short walk to Gion Corner, Kiyomizu Temple, the nightlife of Pontocho, Nishiki market and Kyoto's main shopping district. We are next door to the Yasaka Pagoda on a small pedestrian lane, so quiet anytime of the day! Come and enjoy the ambiance of Kyoto's oldest neighbourhood. This non-smoking property offers a flat-screen TV with satellite and cable channels, as well as a DVD player. The seating area is fitted with a sofa, and the private bathroom comes with free toiletries and a bath. No meals are served on site, but guests can prepare their own meals using the kitchen, which comes fully equipped with a stovetop, a refrigerator, a toaster and a microwave. Gion Shijo Station is a 15-minute walk away, while Yasaka Shrine is a 10-minute walk from the property. Kyoto Station is a 12-minute taxi ride away, and Kansai International Airport can be accessed within a 1-hour and 20-minute drive from the townhouse.

Guests must pay one night's deposit within 3 days of receiving the payment instructions in order to secure the booking, otherwise the booking will be cancelled.
The final payment for the entire stay is due 30 days prior to the check-in date.

Guests must check-in at the Management Company and receive a key to the property. Their office is located near JR Kyoto Station (a 3 minute walk) and is open daily from 10:00 to 19:00.

Guests are kindly requested to keep the noise level down as the property is in a very quiet residential area.
There is no child rate. Children will be charged normal adult rates unless they are infants who can share a bed.
