I did not expect the development around city/province.
I did not expect the development around city/province. It has a lot of big hotels and buildings. I got to try the mom and pop okonomiyaki restaurant at the Hiroshima University and ate twice at Yoshinoya Restaurant at the station. Visited the police station for a transaction that went smoothly. The people we met are very accommodating and kind. The transportation system is very commendable. We did not have the time to visit the tourist spots so we will definitely visit this place again.

We really liked being this memorial town paying our respect the people were really helpful loverly outlook from our hotel. Of river. All the people at the memorial were very respectful the area was treated with much respect it deserved. But a little sad. That this is what had to happen. Unfortunately the loss was to the people living at the time. Not the government in charge.

3 days and 3 nights is just nice.
3 days and 3 nights is just nice. It would allow you to visit all the necessary sites and allowed for some leisurely shopping. Dormy Inn Annex is good as it is new with excellent service and nightly spring bath. The b’fast buffet is of good quality and nightly free ramen is really a bonus.

We stayed 3 nights in Hiroshima, which gave us 2.5 days to explore. We did a night foodie tour on arrival, it’s an excellent way to get familiar with the city and the food. We stayed within walking distance of the Peace Park, which is a must-see, including the museum. The stories of those who died and those who survived the A-bomb are harrowing but must be heard. Peace is the all encompassing theme for Hiroshima and its people. We also did a day trip to Miyajima Island, took train & ferry, returned by boat to Peace Park, well worth it to see the famous Torii gate and the Daishoin Temple has to be seen to be believed, incredible.
I really liked Hiroshima, it didn’t feel too crowded or busy, the city has a pleasant vibe. I’d highly recommend visiting for a few days.

Essentials for us were the museums, the peace park, the castle grounds, exploring the city center and a trip to Itsukushima Island. Beautiful place. Perfect balance of peaceful and a sufficient amount of night life a short walk away.
The open roof onsen is a must! It was sooo relaxing and on a cool night in October, the hot water felt just right and melted away all the stress and fatigue of carrying heavy luggage and all the walking.
The hotel feels fancier than the price implies. We were really impressed.
We left our luggage in the morning and when we checked in at night, it was already in our room. It was really so convenient and perfect and the views from the front desk on floor 13 are wonderful. Definitely got some good pictures overlooking Hiroshima.
The hotel was conveniently located a short 5min walk from Hiroshima station. Also nearby are streetcar/tram stops and 24h convenience stores like Family mart and Lawson. The staff were very helpful and went beyond their duties when my child fell sick. Led by manager Sakaguchi, they contacted hospitals to check appointment time and availability. They arranged taxis and offered to be our translator to hospital staff. They really exceeded expectations. Thank you so much for your hospitality. I would give it 12/10.👍👍👍
The location is the best to view the Hiroshima memorials, including a view of the Atomic Dome outside of our room window. We could easily walk to all the important places. The people in the hotel helped us with everything, including how to travel to the ferry to Miyajima, securing a taxi the day we left for the train station, and even mailing our postcards on the morning we left. You will not be disappointed if you chose to stay here.
Simple yet GREAT hotel in Hiroshima! It is a 15 min walk to the memorial park, with many restaurants and stores options nearby. Comfortable bed and pillows, great shower and nice toiletries. Staff is super kind even though they can’t speak fluent English. Very good breakfast! They stored our luggage until the check in time, recommended nice restaurants around and were always super helpful and smiley. Great hotel option in Hiroshima!
The Knot was a great hotel for our Hiroshima stay. Very close to the Peace Park and many of the sites downtown, and walking distance from some of the best food in the city (we especially enjoyed the Oknomimura :). The room had everything we needed, and the staff and facilities were fantastic. Especially enjoyed the restaurant downstairs, where we had a hearty western breakfast one of our mornings. Would definitely recommend!
I stay at this Hotel everytime I come to Hiroshima. The rooms are basic but practical and the beds are okay. The thing is for me the location is excellent overlooking the River and for the Peace park, Dome etc, with Castle and Gardens a short tram ride away. Also close to the smaller Ferry to Miyajima. Recommend this Hotel to anyone visiting Hiroshima on a budget or just for the location..
The hotel is a convenient 10 minute walk from Hiroshima Station. It is located in a great position next to the river with great views if a river view is requested.
The tourist sites such as the Peace Park was only a 20 minute walk away and the Hiroshima Castle was slightly closer.
For those who hate to walk the trams are not too far away and there are lots of other modes to get about.
Mielparque is centrally-located and accessible to all modes of transport. We were pleasantly surprised that there's a direct access to the bus station from the hotel because it was raining when we checked out of the hotel. We thought we will have a difficult time reaching Hiroshima station but we were wrong. We reached the train station without any hitch. Thank you Mielparque Hotel!
Loved the QR codes in the lobby to explore Hiroshima. Free coffee and tea almost for the entire day was great. It’s in a prime spot that’s about a 20min walk from the Memorial Peace Park. The staff was super friendly and wanted to ensure we had the best stay at their hotel and in Hiroshima.
The hotel is a 3 minute walk to the train station or JR Bus station allowing easy access to all of Hiroshima especially the hop on/hop off JR tourist bus that is included on the JR Pass. The room was exceptional with great amenities and very large for Japan room size standards.
A hotel that I enjoyed staying in. The location is very, very convenient. Facing the hotel is the shopping arcade. A mere 10-15 mins walk to Hiroshima Bomb Museum. And the staff are very helpful. Fully recommended.
We had problems with our luggages using Yamato Transport but Yuriko and all Hilton Hiroshima staff help us all the way through. Excellent Hotel staffs. Will come back again God willing!
The hotel is located close to the streetcar station that goes to the Hiroshima station and the main areas. It is close to the shopping district as well, with many restaurants near by.
Perfect location to explore Hiroshima. Staff is super friendly, and hotel is top. We (family of 5 with kids 9, 7 and 3) very much enjoyed our stay although only for 1 night).
This a new hotel is an incredibly clean, beautiful and comfortable place to say. The staff were wonderful. Highly recommend this hotel for visiting Hiroshima.
Comfortable hotel. Very helpful and polite staff. There was an elevator car parking that we had never seen before. Excellent location for visiting Hiroshima.
