Hiroshima is a beautiful, nice city, in which I would highlight the Hiroshima Castle, a park with a ginkgo tree, a beautiful city center with numerous watercourses and specific cuisine. Good for 2-3 nights
many points can be reached by easy walking
there is good public transport available for more distant points
but in bad weather there is nothing to do and staying overnight is enough

The Hiroshima tourist pass is great and cost effective.
The Hiroshima tourist pass is great and cost effective. I really like it. A very nice pretty lady went out of her way to show my way to the hotel on my first day navigating to the hotel. She even walked with me and offered to carry my luggage up the stairs because I looked so lost :)) She also went out of her way to accompany me to the Train 7 platform going to Chuden Mae. Too bad was not able to get her name. Very nice and helpful people. The map is easy to navigate after a few days. Just not aware there’s free hiroshima wifi. I could have skipped getting a subscribed plan for 5 days.

I visited the town in Sakura season, weather was pleasant which allowed me to discover all the local attractions on foot. Public transport, English speaking staff manning information desk at the station and hotel and shops was helpful.

I've been there before, and I just love it.
I've been there before, and I just love it. In many ways it's the perfect Japanese city. Well laid out, not so crowded, great facilities. The nightlife area is engaging, the public transport is (as always) first class. And the main reason for going there - the Hiroshima Dome - is as poignant and compelling as ever.
After paying your respects at the Dome, there are any number of other attractions that the city has to offer, including nearby Miyajima Island, which is a truly wonderful day out.

I did not expect the development around city/province.
I did not expect the development around city/province. It has a lot of big hotels and buildings. I got to try the mom and pop okonomiyaki restaurant at the Hiroshima University and ate twice at Yoshinoya Restaurant at the station. Visited the police station for a transaction that went smoothly. The people we met are very accommodating and kind. The transportation system is very commendable. We did not have the time to visit the tourist spots so we will definitely visit this place again.

We really liked being this memorial town paying our respect the people were really helpful loverly outlook from our hotel. Of river. All the people at the memorial were very respectful the area was treated with much respect it deserved. But a little sad. That this is what had to happen. Unfortunately the loss was to the people living at the time. Not the government in charge.
Nice and spacious room with a good view. Everything was clean and tidy.
The location was great for the Peace park etc, and quite close to tramline 1. For other options for public transport there was a bit of a walk, but not too far. The pictures used on booking.com were absolutely representative of what we got at the hotel.
The highlight was the breakfast and lounge area on the 25th floor. Good food for breakfast and snacks and drinks all day, with a wonderful view of Hiroshima.
The hotel is near Hiroshima station which makes it easy to come and leave the town. Near the station is also a street car stop so its easy to go around the town.
The staff is really helpful and they speak english. Reception is on the 2nd floor. There is a coin laundry, a vending machine and a microwave on the 3rd floor. There is also Lawson at the 1st floor.
The room is small but it was really clean and cozy. The room looked also quite new. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel.
Large hotel in the heart of Hiroshima, 30 minutes on foot from the main station (8 minutes by bus), located on the wide but quiet Peace Blvd., 400 m from the Peace Park and Atomic Bomb Memorial (tip: nearby landing stage for boat trip to Miyjima Island). Many stores and restaurants in the area, wonderful view over the city from the restaurant on the 24th floor. Large, modern room on the 19th floor with a wide view over the city. Very good breakfast, very friendly staff.
Such a convenient place to stay and so close to the main Hiroshima station. The hotel room was cost and the bed was comfy. Easy check in and check out process as well. Hotel near convenience stores so you don’t have to go far if you’re feeling like you want a snack in the middle of the night. The Hiroshima station also offers sightseeing buses that go in a loop to famous historic sites. Really enjoyed my stay with my friends.
Friendly staff who made us feel welcome throughout the stay. The room was very spacious for a Japanese hotel. It is located only about a 5 minute walk from Hiroshima Station. The breakfast was standard. They also have two washing machines and dryers available which was great. The onsen facility was also good. Overall, it was a fantastic hotel to stay at and we'd happily return there on our next visit.
Hotel is 10mins walk from Hiroshima station. Even with a stroller with toddler, 2 luggages, the distance is very manageable. The hotel is very modern, toilet is very clean except some stain on the carpet. The hotel lobby and entrance is very pretty and modern. The receptionists were both friendly and helpful. The room itself is not big, but it’s enough to fit an open big luggage, a stroller nicely.
This is a cute little hotel that gives the vibe of a small Japanese apartment. It includes a fridge, stove and cooking materials. There was a lot of space along with tatami mats, my favorite! They also offer breakfast, which is a noodle salad with a light sauce. The hotel is a less than 10 minute walk from Hiroshima station located in a quite neighborhood next to a school.
This hotel is a real gem! We were greeted by a very friendly staff and we found the facilities to be clean and fresh throughout the whole stay. the location was perfect being in a quiet backstreet area but still a short walking distance to the nearest streetcar stop, grocery store, and the Peace Memorial Park.
Thank you for making our stay in Hiroshima so pleasant!
Relatively close to the Hiroshima station. Good breakfast buffet, as much as one can eat. The bathroom is like what one would find in Japanese homes: deep bathtub with space to wash one's body beside - however, there is a better alternative at this hotel: the "large bath (大浴場)", which, in spite of its name, the capacity would be 5 persons at most.
Modern cozy and clean room, very nice bathroom. I was happy that my request for a room on higher floor was regarded, thank you so much! The room also had a fantastic view. Friendly and fast check-In. The hotel is 5 min walking distance from Hiroshima train station and 10-15 min walking distance to the city center, so right in between both.
Right next to Peace Park and museum, there are buses that stop right in front of the hotel going to Hiroshima Station and tram stops not that far.
Breakfast options were really good and served buffet style, it's on the top floor and with many window seats so with a little bit of luck you get a great view of the park while eating.
Fantastic hotel, location right at Hiroshima station with escalator access inside. Lot of food options in the station. Even the Starbucks coffee for an Australian was pretty good, better than in the US. Room was very comfortable, wished we could have stayed longer
It is a Ryokan (traditional Japanese) hotel next to the Dome in Hiroshima. The location is perfect. The staff are very friendly and want to give you the best service possible even if they don’t speak a lot of English. Very clean hotel with lovely details.
The location is great, just next to Hiroshima Peace Memorial park.
Upon check-in, guests receive hotel coins that can be used in the hotel bar to purchase snacks and drinks (~1 snack / beer per person per day).
The hotel staff were friendly
Great value for money. The location was very central and most areas/sights of Hiroshima within walking distance. The room was very clean and with a great atmosphere. All in all a really nice hotel with central location in Hiroshima.
Amazing location, the place to stay in Hiroshima. Lovely guest services like washing and communal places to sit outside of your room. Amazing shower and bathroom facilities. Overall such a pleasant and cool hotel
Location, room & view were excellent. Good sized room. Hotel is next door to the main bus terminal in Hiroshima, so plane to Hiroshima & then bus from airport to the city & we were right where we needed to be.
Best location, 2 minutes walk from Hiroshima Railway Station which in itself is a modern shopping complex. Hotel has secure access, breakfast provided. Value for money. Would stay again.
The hotel is located close to the streetcar station that goes to the Hiroshima station and the main areas. It is close to the shopping district as well, with many restaurants near by.
Economy twin was a great value $70/night. Staff interaction was the best of all the hotels we used during our 11 day trip. In Hiroshima station and about 1 mile by taxi to Costco.
