Narita is a charming and friendly little city. We didn't have time to explore everything about it. Known for its temples there is every opportunity for good photos. Loads of places and choices to eat.

We needed a place to stay near the airport as we had an early flight so chose two nights here. We actually got t the airport from Tokyo then used the hotel shuttle bus to go to the hotel which saved us the hassle of figuring out trains/buses. We used the shuttle the following day to go to the mall for last minute shopping. Then again the next day early to get us to the airport. The hotel staff were very welcoming and room was very comfortable and nicely appointed. Would like to have been there longer to explore local sights.

I live and work in Japan.
I live and work in Japan. I usually discourage people from flying into Narita, as its location is very inconvenient. One can usually save 1 hour travel time by flying into Haneda airport instead.
That being said, some flight connections or airlines only work via Narita, and it is a very nice and clean airport with good shops.
And if you have a connecting flight to somewhere else in Japan, Narita will do just as well as any other airport.

This hotel is the perfect location if travelling on to another area in Japan. It is fantastic for a "stop over" sleep. Next visit we will stay a little longer and explore the hotel a bit better. Staff were fantastic and the free shuttle from the airport is fantastic as well.

If you have one night to layover, I suggest spending some time at Narita Omotesando, where they have some of the best grilled unagi in this part of Japan. If unagi is not your thing, check out the yakitori joints in the area - I had some of the best yakitori in this place called うっとり成田 Uttori Narita), and would definitely return for the meats. There's also a pleasant day spa called 崋(はな)の湯 (Hananoyu) one stop down on the subway (Kōzunomori Station) where you can squeeze in a last minute soak so that you will have a good night's sleep before your flight the next day.
I booked this hotel to catch early flight next day, didn't expect that it is very near to a main train station which is only about 15' from Narita Airport. The hotel also provides shuttle bus service which runs quite frequent and does not take much more time than train. In the end we decided to take the shuttle bus, bus is super clean, the driver and her assistant are very friendly and helpful.
Similar to other APA hotels that we were staying, everything here is well organised and clean, staffs are friendly and polite.
the location was wonderful. it's right across the street from a temple. If you ship your bags and ride in on the train, it's at the very end of the road. It was wonderful seeing all the stores I wanted to explore on my way to the hotel. It was also nice because they gave me a chance to walk a different route in the morning and come back in the afternoon. I chose this because they had a shuttle service to the train, which was very helpful as I was headed to the Narita airport and it was a short train ride away.
The staff at the reception was very welcoming and friendly. The room was set up as a usual business hotel model so nothing to complain here, all amenities can be taking with you at the front desk.
When arriving from Narita Int'l Airport you can easily reach the hotel using the Keisei Main Line; from the station it is a <5 minute walk. When using the JR station it's a slightly longer walk. Included breakfast was very good, it is a mix of Asian and Western cuisine, buffet style.
I really liked this hotel. Spacious room with very comfortable bed, and a nice view. Super friendly, English speaking staff. Free shuttle bus from and to Narita airport. Nice calm surroundings; you can walk to the rice fields. And there are plenty of restaurants in the area, also Thai and Indian. You can also go to the spa (2 minutes walk from the hotel), which is nice. Note that in Japan, people with a tattoo are not allowed to enter the spa.
I stay at this hotel every time I have to fly from Narita airport, the location and the shuttle bus service are very convenient. The front desk staff are exceptional, they are very helpful and remembered my family even after a year. The playroom and pool are perfect for guests traveling with small children. The price is very reasonable, I will obviously stay there again.
I stay at the Hilton across the street every month but decided to try Mystay as we always drive past it going to the Hilton. The hotel is nice, and the facilities are what you would expect for an airport hotel.
If price is an issue and this is your cheapest option, it's alright for a night or two. Otherwise, I'd recommend anywhere else in Narita.
The proximity to shops and eateries is tops! The hotel is clean and functional and maximises the room space nicely.
We are just reflecting that we tend to move out of Narita Airport quickly to go to Tokyo and other areas. Narita truly has many gems worthwhile exploring. We will return for more and the hotel is one we will confidently book again.
Absolutely spotless and very welcoming. For English speakers, you will be able to communicate no problem. The breakfast buffet was also exceptional and a great first meal in Japan! There is also a shuttle for Narita Airport that take you to and from the hotel. As expected, they are punctual and treat your luggage with the utmost care.
Our flight arrived really late due to a delay, and we needed to spend the night in Narita. Needed a hotel close to the airport, and this was available. Had to take a taxi to the hotel because the shuttle bus was done for the night. Check-in was a breeze. We got sufficient rest and enjoyed a nice breakfast the next day.
Rooms are bigger than most hotels in japan. although a tad dated they do what theyre there for. the beds are big and fairly comfortable. The location net to narita airport is perfect if you have an early flight and travelled from across japan.
the airport shuttle bus runs every half hour which is super convenient
The room was felt bigger than I would expect for a cheap airport hotel, and the food options were very convenient-- nice restaurant, cafe, and a 24-hr Lawson. Combined with the free shuttle service to and from the airport, this was exactly what I needed for my overnight layover in Narita.
We stayed there since we had 2 flights to and from Narita day after day. It was very comfortable, there was a free shuttle to the hotel and the airport, the room was very spacious and comfortable, the shower was great and the restaurant were very good as well.
The Hilton Tokyo Narita Airport is spacious and well appointed. The dining room offers both an a la carte or buffet style dining experience. The staff are friendly and incredibly helpful. Staying at this hotel was the perfect way to end our holiday in Japan.
The airport shuttle is very nice provided by the hotel, and it only took 15- 20 minutes from narita airport to the hotel and vice versa, and for the price you pay, the room are actually quite spacious, comfy and clean, I really enjoy my stay there
It was nice restaurant and all the staff were professional and also the shuttle bus from Airport T2 to the hotel for the future i will recommend everyone to stay in Toyoko inn Narita Airport shinkan and enjoy the trip.
Near to the airport with free bus.
Room with free wifi, tv and bathroom with cosmetics.
Family market with products in good prices in hotel.
You can use free bus to Narita city center also.
Dinner was a gourmet exploration of delicious dishes, breakfast was also a gourmet treat. The hotel's close proximity to the Narita Airport is an additional plus, taxi fare was 4800 yen.
This is my second time to stay this hotel. I like its location close to JR station, room is spacious and free shuttle bus to and from Narita airport.
I will come again next time
We stay at this hotel everytime we fly in and out of Narita. Super close to the airport. Shuttle to and from the airport also JR Narita station and Aeon mall.
