I love this place and the people are so friendly. South beach is fantastic for relaxing, snorkelling and diving.
The town is great for shopping and eating local food.
Easy to walk around as not too big.
The fort and flagpole are worth a visit.

Aqaba is a wonderful city & port with a wonderful sea, beaches, weather, shops, hotels, restaurants, museums etc... People are very hospitable and friendly. Great landscape, palms, mountains, city tours and boat tours available all the time, this is apart from all the other water activities you can enjoy. You will also find a variety of shops with different items and reasonable prices. I strongly recommend to visit Aqaba at least once. Yet, if you have visited it once, you will visit again and again.
We were just there and are already planning for our next trip soon.
Definitely, we will visit again....

Aqaba is a friendly safe city by the Red Sea.
Aqaba is a friendly safe city by the Red Sea. It is the perfect location to go swimming, visit Petra and Wadi Rum or even visit the neighbouring countries by car or boat. The sea water is warm and the coral reefs are stunning. There are many restaurants and the city is very lively, especially in the evening. It is perfectly safe to walk around, everybody is very welcoming and friendly and it´s a great place for a relaxing vacation but where you can add several exciting day trips. I loved Aqaba and it has become one of my favourite places in the world.

Aqaba was disappointing and not as I imagined .
Aqaba was disappointing and not as I imagined . The local beach isn’t really a good idea and so using a local beach club such as the Saraya is a must.
Some of the local restaurants are very good .
As a woman solo traveller I did not always feel safe . I was approached on numerous occasions by men .
I book with this hotel and then I ask I called them I make a phone call with the managers the number they bought it on the website and then after that when I reach to the managers of this hotel, I asked him to have a swimming pool, he said no. We don't have I said alright thank you so much, I wanna translate it. I try to translate it I cannot after 3 days and no, sometimes I translate it and after 3 days. Someone tried to charge my card for 93. Jordan and dinners cutting off from my card.
The Property is not too far from the Jordanian border and is easy to reach. It's a proper divers place and if you don't mind a hippie place this is for you. It's not luxurious but very basic - the rooms were not clean, I moved the bed and there was dust all around, the door was broken, toilet was dirty. The beach opposite the hotel is walking distance but is very dirty and have lots of campers around.
The best hotel we had in Jordan.
It was easy to get there by car and plenty street parking available.
A good breakfast with all the arabien stuff plus some western, like toast & cereals.
The rooms where well equipped and even featured a balcony.
The staff was real helpful with helping with some admin matters ( i.e. calling the rental car agency etc ).
We even got a complementary fruit basket.
A very new hotel, a 10 minutes walk away to the sea shore. Extremely helpful and experienced staff who try to solve any problem and is able to organize perfect trips throughout entire Jordan to reasonable prices. Ask for restaurants and bars and you will get extremely useful answers. The hotel is new, so the rooms are ... breakfast is simple but totally sufficient ... highly recommended!!!
we have chosen this hotel only for sleepover before our flight early in the morning, so for this purpose it was okayish. The room itself was quite good, warm which was surprising, because before this hotel in Jordan we stayed into way more better hotels, but the rooms in them were cold. The receptionist lady was super nice, she recommended for us really good place to buy arabic sweets:)
Really pleasant hotel! The rooms are comfortable and spacious, with nice bathrooms. We had a room with a sea view balcony.
The location is great - easy to leave Aqaba without driving inside the city. Walking distance to the centre and the sea.
Jordanian breakfast was tasty and the kitchen stuff really kind and helpful. The receptionist allowed us to do early check in.
Breakfast is great, with many delicious options.
Many different pools and large beach area.
From the hotel you can easily walk to the rest of Tala bay were there are among other things restaurants and a small supermarket.
We were travelling with our 5 month old baby and the hotel had all the amenities we required.
Staff was very kind.
it was clean and the staff is friendly. breakfast was great for Jordan! the only thing we didn’t know was that it is a all smoking hotel. so you’ll smell it everywhere, also the towels have a light cigarette smell. for one night nothing to complain about. but good to know beforehand
To be quite honest I was quite unsure before booking this hotel, because of not so many comments. As the result it was a very good decision. Friendly staff, clean big rooms and really good price make this place a one of best picks in Aqaba in regards to money vs quality ratio
Nice hotel with easy and free access to the beach, very helpful personnel, good breakfast. The resort itself, Tala Bay is nice, they have some good restaurants, nice beaches with good snorkeling opportunities, comfortable sunbeds, lots of pools, etc. We enjoyed our stay
I see the place very friendly and relaxing, we stayed in other 3 places in Jordan and this was the best. Our room was small and the furniture and bathroom a bit worn but of course, for this price you cannot expect 5 star hotel :-) Staff took great care of us.
Our booking was for 6 people but when we arrived the hotel advised us that the booking is only for 4 people and they charged us for the rate of 6 people without adding any actors beds
Also facility of the beach was only for 4 people
Very disappointing …..
great value for for money. don’t expect a 4/5 star hotel but for the price you get a good, clean one bed apartment right in the center of town. it’s great for solo travelers who only need it for sleep. for couples who want facilities probably not.
The hotel was amazing! Very clean, great location and good service.
One thing about our booking experience, we booked half board and when we arrived we discovered it wasn’t half board, Booking has issues! Bad experience with Booking app!!
Staff were very friendly even though they were super busy with so many guests since it was Eid. I liked that you could access the Tala Bay Beach and facilities in general. Electric charger in the parking was a plus.
The entire staff was awesome. Friendly, helpful, and always good spirits… even the day after Jordan lost to Qatar :)
Great breakfast and a fantastic shower: Two things I look for when traveling
