I loved my hotel and the walk at Ayla! The food at Ali’s Central Restaurant was excellent too.
I visited the bazar / souq, and I don’t recommend that as it was so busy and nothing really there except cheap Chinese products
Leaving Aqaba and dealing with customs was a nightmare!

Aqaba is a wonderful city & port with a wonderful sea, beaches, weather, shops, hotels, restaurants, museums etc... People are very hospitable and friendly. Great landscape, palms, mountains, city tours and boat tours available all the time, this is apart from all the other water activities you can enjoy. You will also find a variety of shops with different items and reasonable prices. I strongly recommend to visit Aqaba at least once. Yet, if you have visited it once, you will visit again and again.
We were just there and are already planning for our next trip soon.
Definitely, we will visit again....

Aqaba is a friendly safe city by the Red Sea.
Aqaba is a friendly safe city by the Red Sea. It is the perfect location to go swimming, visit Petra and Wadi Rum or even visit the neighbouring countries by car or boat. The sea water is warm and the coral reefs are stunning. There are many restaurants and the city is very lively, especially in the evening. It is perfectly safe to walk around, everybody is very welcoming and friendly and it´s a great place for a relaxing vacation but where you can add several exciting day trips. I loved Aqaba and it has become one of my favourite places in the world.

Everything is superb!
Grand opening just a few months back, so it’s a brand new hotel, very modern design; outside and inside.
Comfortable mattresses. You can have good, home-like, night sleep or afternoon nap, with great sound isolation from the surroundings.
You can have a nice coffee in the morning at the balcony, then you step to the breakfast in its designated restaurant La Firma, where you can find hospitality and a descent variety of local dishes which are made with love!
Being a local Jordanian, I love this hotel 😍
Staff very nice and helpful. You feel that you are in family hostel. Also, there were facilities to wash clothes (washing machine, 3 jod or wash it yourself, and then there were 2 clothes racks in balcony.
Very good and simple Jordanian breakfast. Although I was travelling (tourism), there was a room for coworking, with several desks and a tv screen.
I have not visit public beach or Al-Ghandour beach. I paid one day in Berenice beach club. The pick up-drop off shuttle was free.
Absolutely perfect hotel. Brand new, extremely spacious rooms/bathroom. Impeccably clean. Central location. Super professional and kind staff who was very sweet and attentive to our infant and allowed us a late check-out. By far our best accommodation and breakfast in Jordan. During our trip we have learnt that the ratings in Jordan often don't reflect/meet the European stadars, which is not the case for this hotel. It is a perfect 10 and we would gladly stay there again.
I had paid for executive club access which have access to drinks food and cocktails at various times of the day in a great setting.
The hotel location was excellent and very close to the centre .
The hotel felt really big ,expansive and had a feeling of luxury befitting a 5 star hotel.
It had its own private beach which was lovely and plenty of loungers.
An abundant supply of towels and water was supplied in a cooler box to sunbathe which was an excellent touch.
The hotel was in a fantastic location, in Tala Bay, which is a beautiful little place with a great marina, restaurants and private beach (with beach club). We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Tala Bay. At the hotel, we enjoyed some good food upon arrival from the bar. Mohammed on reception was always incredibly helpful and ensured our stay was a pleasant one, and the young lady making omelette’s at breakfast was in very polite and professional.
The Property is not too far from the Jordanian border and is easy to reach. It's a proper divers place and if you don't mind a hippie place this is for you. It's not luxurious but very basic - the rooms were not clean, I moved the bed and there was dust all around, the door was broken, toilet was dirty. The beach opposite the hotel is walking distance but is very dirty and have lots of campers around.
The best hotel we had in Jordan.
It was easy to get there by car and plenty street parking available.
A good breakfast with all the arabien stuff plus some western, like toast & cereals.
The rooms where well equipped and even featured a balcony.
The staff was real helpful with helping with some admin matters ( i.e. calling the rental car agency etc ).
We even got a complementary fruit basket.
Really downtown, like the name of the hotel. The cleanest hotel we have been to in Jordan, with very comfortable beds. Our bathroom was tiny, but we were offered by the very polite staff, to use another one, or change rooms if we needed to. Unfortunately we didn't have time to taste the breakfast, so no opinion on that, but I m confident it would be as good as the rest of the experience.
We have pleasant stay in the Grand hotel, enjoyed our stay.
Firstly : the front desk ( Reception staff) were welcoming and gave us useful information about Tala bay Resort especially Mr. Hamzeh ,
Second :early check in which didn't expect.
3rd: comfortable room with comfortable bed, soft pillows, natural views from balcony. Thanks for exceptional service.
The hotel is truly 5 start. WE have received free upgrade to executive room. Staff is very accommodating and ready to help and provide any info. Rooms are large and have everything you need. Private beach is vey nice, chairs and umbrellas always available. The water is calm and clear. There are pools but we did not use them, prefer beach.
Very good Hotel, perfect place with private beach to the Red Sea. Breakfast was great.
Very nice stuff with very welcoming words and smiles.
Has an amazing Lebanese restaurant-Rehan, with amazing variety of traditional lebanese cuisine, well trained stuff with a great smile and nice personality, thanks for Abbas and Hady from Rehan.
Stuff is great, very helpful and good in English. Rooms was very clean, and hotel offers one of the best breakfast we had in Jordan for now. Location is also great, near bazzar and one very important thing: hotel has great sound isolation ( for the people who doesn't like to be awaken 5 in the morning for morning pray).
I had the pleasure of staying at the Mövenpick Resort & Spa Tala Bay Aqaba for my recent business trip, and I must say it exceeded my expectations in every way. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that my stay was both comfortable and enjoyable.
A five star hotel in aqaba with great facilities including private beach. outstanding breakfast .
After staying in much expensive hotels in aqaba I enjoyed my stay in Intercontinental and will stay there in my next visit. Mohanad at the reciept desk is 🏅🏅
Nice hotel with professional staff. We got a free room upgrade, which was much appreciated. New and clean rooms in a quiet area. Good location. Free parking on the street nearby. Good breakfast, Jordan style. Vfm especially at the price we got it.
Staff were very friendly even though they were super busy with so many guests since it was Eid. I liked that you could access the Tala Bay Beach and facilities in general. Electric charger in the parking was a plus.
