Negril never disappoints, there are so many great cooks, everywhere. You can literally eat anywhere. We rent a car but taxis are a great way to get around to the beautiful beach. Talk to the locals get out of your hotel and explore.

Way past the large all-inclusive resorts, Negril is full of smaller and well maintained properties, guest houses, restaurants. Not so much an international cosmopolitan playground as an honest Jamaican setting.

The hotel is very very secluded and far from EVERYTHING.

The hotel is very very secluded and far from EVERYTHING. I almost thought we were lost trying to find the hotel. The housekeeper is rude and impolite. The head housekeeper Alison made up for it though. Alison was sweet and kind, and went above and beyond to make up for her co-worker. The bar/ restaurant servers were excellent. I loved all of the ladies.

Patsy's Coffee Shop was great for breakfast.

Patsy's Coffee Shop was great for breakfast. We enjoyed Ivan's and Rock House for dinner. Dakta Kush was a sweet character we met at his snack stand outside our resort. The people are so funny and friendly! A handful of stray dogs and cats roaming about, friendly and shy.

Negril is a great place to be, at the western end of Jamaica...

Negril is a great place to be, at the western end of Jamaica where the sunsets are magic. Taxis are easy to find, there is a shopping area with a grocery store, which happened to be across from my hotel. Go to Ivans or Rick's Cafe for sunsets and great dinners. Plenty of restaurants line the famous Seven Mile Beach, alongside plenty of hotels. Negril is two separate experiences, I think. There is the sandy beach and palm tree Negril, and the dramatic cliff-side Negril. Both are worth seeing and the town is small enough to experience both. Do you dare jump off the cliff at Rick's Cafe just for the simple bragging rights? Yes? Then do it! No? well, watching others do so is just as much fun. Negril is the original tourist beach town. I have known it for 50 years. Just go.

As I stated before. The restaurants at the Royalton really need some help with staff. Very unfriendly.. tj oh also really should never run out of bananas at the bar. Getting to the resort from the airport was a nightmare. Well over two hours.

Catcha was the perfect place to stay for our visit! The location on the cliffs was beautiful and peaceful and my boyfriend loved being able to jump in for an early morning swim in the sea before breakfast. Ivan’s the restaurant had the best food! When chatting to other locals they said it was their favourite spot in Negril. The staff were also super friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Coral Suite and loved it. The room was spacious, bright, clean, with a big veranda to relax on. The bed was also very comfy. We had such a great stay.

Amazing amazing place to stay in Negril. We stayed in one of the cabins and it was absolutely stunning. The whole hostel is within a beautiful garden, super chill, super quiet, a small paradise. It's also walking distance to some of the best restaurants in Negril. The communal areas are very well taken care of, some of the best I've seen. The service we received from the staff was incredible. They were so nice and accommodating and made sure we are comfortable and happy with our room Couldn't recommend this place enough.

The pressure from the shower was great. The food was really good and the staff in the restaurant were extremely friendly and accommodating. Especially Sydel and Dave. The beach was great. The view and layout was perfect for lounging and enjoy the warm sea. Walking along the beach was relaxing and also a good idea to check out the attractions and scenery. As the hotel is along the strip, it's perfect to find other places to eat, like the Jerk vendors or to go into Negril town.

Nice beachfront hotel, you can get a sunbed on the beautiful beach of the hotel or on the swimming pool. Wi-fi is working well, there is a sea view terrace where you can get breakfast or any meal. The rooms are clean and have all you may need during your stay : iron, hair drier, fridge , AC . There is a parking if you have a car and the hotel is quiet. The staff at the restaurant are professional the kitchen could be very very very slow even for someone on holiday.

The Blue Sky Beach Resort is actually on the beach: It opens on to a small strip of the public beach at Negril. The beach here is rather narrow. The space is sufficient, however, to place a few deckchairs on it. Two of the hotel rooms offer a view onto the sea, interrupted only by the backside of a sundeck which has been put in between. All the other rooms face onto an interior open hallway. I had a big room facing the sea.

Location pretty good. Very close to Seven Mile beach, just some steps. And be sure, the best places to stay in Negril are the places close to the beach. And close to the hostel you can find a mini-market only some steps, and some restaurants. Even if you wanna go to Negril Downtown, you can go by walk 20 minutes. About our hostess, Shalby, she was so kindly, she gave all information we need. We really appreciate.

Samsara offers the best of both worlds - Negrils cliffside snorkeling and Negril's 7 mile beach. Samsara is on the cliffside and their sister motel, Legends is on the beachside. There is a shuttle to take you back and forth. We keep coming back to Samsara for lots of reasons, such as the room views, cleanliness, cliffs, and their very accommodating staff.

The beach access and the breakfast was the only good thing about the hotel. Great location but the place need much renovation. The staff was nice and the area is pleasant. Room was okay but the bathroom was horrible, water leaking all night and little hot water. We were only staying for one additional night so it didn’t make any sense to complain.
