Kingston is a place for dancing and food. There isn't much amusement as in bowling arcade places or things of that sort but there is lots of life. The people can be a hit or a miss just like everywhere but you will have a great time full of music throughout the town as well as Jamaican culture with vendors and beautiful water everywhere. Food is always great and just beautiful weather is always a place to go.

I come to Kingston to visit family, friends, and to do mission work. I would not come to Kingston to hang out. It is dangerous and chaotic...but I like it. I grew up in Naples, Italy where it's very similar. I love the people, the roughness, the danger, and the real aspect of Jamaican living. Many Americans may not like it here. This is not a resort town. Just be aware of it. I lived here for five years and love it...but it is challenging at many levels. You drive on the left here and that is a challenge if you are not used to that as well.

What a nice Experience Kingston is.
What a nice Experience Kingston is. I stayed at the corner of Duke and Queen with Chillinn at Duke. Walking to the harbour in the morning. Watching the city come alive. Street venders selling porridge, chicken foot soup, fresh fruit and what ever else you are interested in. Got more hassled in Negril. There is lot here. Peter Tosh, Bob Marley exhibit, museums. Big city stuff. I did not go out at night to much, just like any other big city I have been in the world. Irea. Take Kingston in.

The people are amazing, every single person we met was friendly, helpful and happy! The only downside was having to be aware of where you can walk but you get that in most big cities. The standard of driving leaves a lot to be desired and the potholes are something else. But Kingston is an experience and as long as you are careful it is a joy to be part of. Gloria’s in Port Royal is worth a trip if you like seafood. Catch a boat out to Lime Cay for a few hours is also like nothing else - watch the pelicans swooping into the sea for fish while you’re sipping beer on the beach! 👍👍. Devon House for patties and the must see - Marley Mansion along Hope Road along with a visit to Emancipation Park 👍

I enjoyed my stay in Kingston, whether out walking and sightseeing or relaxing in my apartment. People are friendly and helpful and I felt safe everywhere that I went, all during the daytime.
I visited the Bob Marley house and garden museum, the Devon House museum and centre, the downtown craft market and saw other neighbourhoods, using local taxis. I cooked all of my own meals in order to keep the price of my visit down.

Port Royal is a LOVELY place......
Port Royal is a LOVELY place......Gloria's Restaurant is the place to go. The road network is good and easy to access places.
Amidst the hustle a bustle of the city, there are a few places of rest and relaxation.
I regarded my visit as a recovery from the stress of losing my sister and attending her funeral. Four nights in the hotel was perfect to regain some peace of mind before returning home to England. I was treated with respect and all the staff I met were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and although housekeeping was curtailed because of COVID restrictions, I was wanting for nothing. I will have no hesitation staying at Terra Nova Hotel in the future when I hope it will be under happier circumstances.
Breakfast was delicious and the staff are super friendly and helpful :)
The location is perfect to bob marley museum,Devon’s house, coronation market and Ibo spice portal and port Royal/fort Charles:)
We took the cab to coronation market and after walked all the way back to our B&B :)
We met friendly local people all along the way :)
Starbucks and juicy Pattie’s around the corner(awesome).
Thanks for an unbelievable experience in your country/city,Kingston rocks!
The staff is lovely and the cabana pool is the BEST! Breakfast has lots of options to choose from and is so convenient to have in New Kingston. The room service food is delicious too. It’s also nice that this location has a grocery store right across the street for any snacks, drinks, etc. you want for your room.
The hotel feels safe and secure, the rooms are comfortable, and we really enjoyed our 5-night stay here. 😌
We love our little cottage!! The staff is more than welcoming, they did everything they could to made us feel comfortable and cozy. The house is clean, neat, organized and there is everything you need!! There is parking available, AC, towels and a lot of safety! We are very happy with our choice and i rate this place one of my favourite place that i've ever stayed in all of my trips! Highly recommended!!!
Good location situated between emancipation park, bob Marley museum and Devon house.
It was much bigger than I expected but that was fine.
Large rooms, decent breakfast choices and good service
Lovely roof top bar and nice pool with cabanas
We had dinner one night but just sandwiches and they were good
Wide choice of cocktails
My overall experience at the Winchester Sunshine was great. The apartment is nice, spacious, and clean I like that fact almost everything is within walking distance the grocery store, the Devon House, etc. I would definitely recommend Winchester Sunshine, great location. I will definitely be booking it again.
Christine was definitely a super host from the day of arrival to the day I left ANYTHING that I needed or wanted Christine and her daughter was always there to please. Extremely pleasant and sweet. I felt like I was at my aunties house. Thanks for everything Christine and Leslie.
The place was big with lots of space and windows that could be opened when you didnt feel for ac. The breeze passing through the house was great. I loved every minute that I was there and hated to leave. Quiet beside for the cars passing and lots of privacy.
All the staffs I encounter were awesome and accommodating (from the reception, restaurants and from the housekeeping)! Well trained, well educated and well mannered personnels. Thanks also for upgrading me for free to a Royal Club. Foods are good too!
Bed was big and comfortable. Room had nice couch to chill on. Hotel has nice pool and gym. The food from the hotel restaurant was OK, but we expected better. Overall probably one of the best hotel comparing to other ones in Kingston.
The host did her best to ensure a comfortable stay in the heart of the city.. Convenient parking, secured location, and just a few blocks away from New Kingston Hub.. I definitely would recommend.
The ROK is a very pleasant jewel for Kingston . I finally there is a quality 5 Star hotel on the waterfront which I do believe will spark economic development for a very run down area
In my opinion, LC is by far the best place to stay in New Kingston. Even though you are in a very busy area , you feel separated from the hustle and bustle of a very busy city .
The hotel was in a nice, gated sports club in New Kingston. The reception was great and the hotel was a proper hotel (not just guesthouse or Airbnb). The atmosphere was nice.
Lots of space and quiet. Own designated parking was great. Central location close to famous locations eg Devon House. View from the roof was great. Safe secure environment.
Staff were super friendly and helpful and the location was perfect for Bob Marley museum and Kaya herb house. The coffee was delicious and the breakfast too!
Breakfast and housekeeping service was not included, but the location of the property was in close reaching of supermarkets, restaurants and attractions.
