Fossacesia is part of the 'trebocchi coast' famed for it's extraordinary fishing piers made from wood, bits of rope - and a certain amount of optimism. Still, they stand up to time and the weather and are the source of wonderful seafood. Fossacesia is lively in the summer and atmospheric in the winter (when there will always be one or two cafes open for something to warm up with after a walk along the beach). There is a recently opened walking and cycling track along the old railway line which means you can get much further round to hitherto inaccessible bits of the coast.StephenUnited Kingdom
