This third-floor-no-lift B&B, The Liberty Terrace, is in a historic, protected building, unique and atmospheric. It is located near the central railway station of Udine and close to the centre. I am inviting visitors to come and stay in the large and spacious room at the top of the building where I live, too. There you will find light and sunshine and a very relaxing atmosphere. There is a balcony for smokers and a large terrace ideal for my delicious breakfast or sunbathing relaxing with a glass of wine and a good book. For my guest cyclists: finally reaching the building after kilometres of pedalling, your adventure hasn’t finished yet. I know you like hard chore, and you feel happy only if you struggle and sweat. So, you will now drag your bikes to the double locked basement and then up again, four more floors to reach your room. Therefore I call it Terrace and not Garden. There you will be rewarded with the most delicious breakfast you can imagine repaying all the effort you endured to get to The Liberty Terrace.
I am a linguist working at home, so I am always at home and available to solve any problem you might have or to ease your trip around the area and to make your stay as pleasent as possible.
The building is situated 12-min walk from the centre; 11-min walk from the railway station; 8-min walk to Udine Theatre - Teatro nuovo Giovanni da Udine, 5-min to the hospital by car. 300 meters further from the property is Alpe Adria Trail (Ciclovia Alpe Adria) and other cycling lanes. It is the best place to stay if you are in Udine for Far East Film Festival. Only 8-min walk. The location is especially suitable for cyclist, on Alpe Adria Trail is just behind the corner. The house is also ideal as a starting-point to explore the many local and regional taverns and restaurants, wine tasting, San Daniele ham tasting which epitomize some of the best food and wines for which Italy has become so well-known across the world.
