La colazione sulla terrazza con vista sullo stretto!
There was a lot of garbage in the streets. Looks like it’s not collected very often which is a pity. Most pavements need to be redone as there are a lot of cracks and potholes. The main shopping area is very clean and well kept though. Trains are very punctual. Only had one delay but it wasn’t their fault as their was a fire somewhere. And only one hour delay so the train after that was on schedule.
One other thing, the evening train going to Lamezia terme on a Saturday evening was full of youngsters and the boys were extremely rowdy and noisy to the extent of making me feel uncomfortable even though I wasn’t traveling alone.

The room is centrally located. Just 10 minute walk to th archeological museum, the duomo and the beach walk. Lovely town. The host was very attentive. Despite being in the centre of the city, the room was very quiet

The main attraction is the National Archeological Museum containing the Riace bronzes. The museum is excellent with almost everything explained in good English captions.
Pleasant downtown city-centre area with elegant shops and good restaurants,
iconic Lungomare with views across the Strait of Messina to Mount Etna (on a clear day0

Pleasant, friendly and helpful people.
Pleasant, friendly and helpful people. We went to see the famous Riace Bronze statutes in the Museum. The staff there were informative and accommodating. It was a nice town to stroll around with the main street being a pedestrian precinct

Reggio Calabria is worth a short visit, 2-3 days at the most. It could be a good base for day trips to other towns and beach areas such as Tropea and Scilla. There’s not a lot to see in Reggio; the Archeological Museum is the main attraction.
Day to day life is traditional Sicilian, English is not spoken as readily as on the mainland. Typically, restaurants open at 8:00pm for dinner…almost nothing is open earlier other than a gelateri or coffee bar. This is mainly a pedestrian city.

This excellent B&B is run by a friendly and helpful couple. My train was three hours late and I arrived at 11pm but they patiently waited for me until then. They serve a good breakfast too. The room was very spacious and had everything I needed--even a comb and slippers were provided. The price and location are also good--the building is a 600 meter walk away from the Lido train station and also near the archeological museum. An excellent place to stay in Reggio di Calabria.
The apartment was completely new after reconstruction, in hotel-like cleanliness and equipment quality. We had own room with own bathroom, kitchen was common, where nice breakfast was served. The owners, 2 brothers, were extremely caring and helpful, he would go with me to the airport to bring back our rental car and drove me back on his motorcycle! This was way over usual hospitality and we really appreciated.
Very nice little hotel in the city center. Awesome position, 2 minutes walking from the Duomo, and 10 minutes from the Lungomare (seafront promenade). Angelo is a great host, super friendly and very supportive with local tips and suggestions. Great breakfast with local food. If you are in Reggio Calabria, stop here for a super friendly and really good quality for money stay!
I liked the location within minutes walking of the train station and the main pedestrian street. The hotel is sleek and modern with keyless entry using your phone. The room was large and well appointed. Great shower and amenities. Breakfast was excellent with generous sweet and salty choices. The gentleman at the desk was very helpful and kind.
This was an exceptionally good location for getting to the ferry to Messina (easy walking distance from the hotel). We were upgraded to a room with the most amazing view across to Sicily! All the staff are pleasant - they were extremely helpful in arranging our taxi from the train station. Breakfast was excellent and very good value.
The location was excellent for visiting the museum. The hotel staff was responsive to our complaints and changed our room; we were upgraded to a suite, which was more comfortable and spacious.
I rate the hotel as 5 because the staff responded to our complaints. But as a hotel, it merits a 2 or 3.
Ultra-convenient location. Amical and helpful staff. Quiet, cool room. Reliable wifi. Appealing breakfast choices. Decent parking for my bicycle. -- I've been touring the south of Italy for a while now and this was by far the best B&B I've stayed at. Not at all expensive either.
The hosts were extremely kind and helpful! The breakfast was amazing and they went out of their way to help in any way they could. I have stayed in hotels around Calabria and when I return I will not stay anywhere else besides Casa Canale. Amazing service and place!
the Junior suite we stayed in was ok, the view was obstructed due to work is being done, the hotel is close to the corso where the main shopping stores are located, the breakfast buffet has good selection, you pay extra for omellet. staff were nice.
loved this hotel. would stay here again. both Luigi and Roberta were very helpful and it made my stay there amazing. great location in Reggio Calabria that is very central and the breakfast is great. definitely recommend 10/10
Beautiful hotel, centrally located, great rooftop bar and restaurant. But what truly makes this hotel exceptional are the staff. They are all nice and go out of their way to make your stay pleasant
everything. the hotel is new. Very clean, 3 min from city center. The bed was the best bed. Dominico was helping us with all. We had 4 perfect days. I strongly recomand.
Great location close to the airport, great staff, clean room and extremely confortable bed, air conditioning and a nice rooftop terrace overlooking the airport
Everything was OK and the hotel room looked exactly as expected. Small rooms but comfy beds. The AC system is a bit difficult to understand but works fine.
