We wanted a quiet villa in Tuscany…we got that in this 500 yr old…well maintained…working farm/villa. Our hostess was so welcoming and encouraged us to be “at home” there. Good breakfast a d on one night Simona cooked us a fabulous candlelight Tuscan meal to enjoy under the huge chestnut tree. The wine they produce was some of the best I have had. It was so beautiful there

In the heart of the Chianti hills, 22 miles from Florence and 4 miles from Certaldo, you will find Fattoria Bacìo with its 340 acres of olive groves, and vineyards. Fattoria Bacìo, with its 19 th century villa, and its adjoining farm-houses, that are all lovingly restored in an authentic Tuscan style, can host up to 50 people. Its green park with unusual trees and plants, part lawn, part stone and terra cotta paving, has tables and chairs for outdoor dining. There is a swimming pool.
