The town is ugly and touristy.
The town is ugly and touristy. Puglia has beautiful historical towns with beaches like Monopoli, Otranto or Gallipoli. This town however has nothing of interest and is not picturesque. Walking in the evening was difficult as the canal smells. The town is quite poor. I regretted going there.

Magda and Massimilliano are super hosts!
Magda and Massimilliano are super hosts! They are nice people, warm and very friendly. The accommodation was exactly like in the pictures, a large room for 3 people, very clean and comfortable. All facilities were functioning. We've got a fabulous breakfast with typical specialties. The accommodation is well located for a trip along the Ionic and Adriatic coasts. I definitively recommend this accommodation.

Very nice accommodation in a quiet location with a beautiful terrace, garden and outdoor fireplace for barbecue, across the road is an amazing reef for swimming, about 5 km beautiful white sand beach.

A brand new structure designed and built by Massimiliano...
A brand new structure designed and built by Massimiliano with his own hands ... and managed in a sublime way by his wife Magda. Two wonderful people who will involve you in everything that is Salento from the moment you arrive. Hearty breakfast, always ready advice on places to visit and restaurants to attend. Beautiful rooms, cleanliness reigns supreme. In the evening you can find along with Max and Magda, an aperitif before dinner or a taste of Salento liqueurs coming back after dinner. All on the beautiful terrace overlooking the sea. In short, they made us spend one of the most beautiful holidays! Magda will support you in everything you need, from the heart, like the people of this land do. Highly recommended !! Possible tear at the start .....

She made us breakfast everyday (both sweet and savoury, super tasty!) and she gave us lots of tips on where to go and what to see. The location is close to beautiful beaches and lots of restaurants. The room was spacious and we never heard the other guests even though there were others. Safe parking inside the premises. We will definitely go back to Masseria Nova when we return to Torre San Giovanni!!

The house was spacious, perfectly clean, with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, good internet access, A/C if you need, and we got some welcome snacks and passata... and a bag of beach toys for our son (thanks!). Good contact with the owners, though with the use of a translator. Just on the other side of the street there is a good restaurant. We had no trouble parking, though note that you have to park on the street.

The house is well equipped with everything that you would need for the stay. The host has been extremely keen and responsive.
