I was scouting the 5th century St. Michael Church for a documentary. This B&B was just outside the gate, and Patricia new the Sister than was in charge of the Church. The name of this B&B is the Guardian of the Temple...which it is. The room was fabulous. It had what felt like a 10th century ceiling. Very clean, and a refrigerator that had food and drink in it for my consumption. I greatly appreciated that and took advantage a little. The room was large and spacious and on several different levels. It was on the first level near the gate that went to the Church. Fantastic. My only complaint was that the bed was too hard to sleep on my side, and I did not sleep well. But Patricia was fantastic. She greeted me, and made sure I was set with the Church and her patio. I wanted to take advantage of tea on her patio overlooking the Church, but I had to leave very early in the morning.

the accommodation is as pretty and authentic as it looks. It will take you back in time and you will have a wonderful stay in a lovely italian residence only 15 mins walk from the city center. the accommodation was very cleaned and well equipped from mosquitos repellants, sanitiser gel to toiletries. Also the kitchen was very well equipped with coffee machine, microwave, fridge and hob. More than anything we appreciated the kindness and great spirit of hospitality of the owner who went above and beyond to make us feel at home for instance by offering to relax in her balcony and by recommending good restaurants.

the property was huge! so much space and loved the brick ceiling! the location was perfect, 10 mins walk from the town. the nicest host ever and honestly we couldn’t fault a single thing.

Andrea, Patrizia and their son were wonderful hosts. The room, more like a one-room apartment, was very well-equipped with a very quaint, old Italian vibe. Breakfast was continental - not super fancy or fresh but adequate to fuel us for the long walks through Perugia. Patrizia even dropped off special pastries from her favorite pasticeria.
