I love Forte dei Marmi and I am happy to see how it changes...
I love Forte dei Marmi and I am happy to see how it changes through times. Very much new shops like Dior, Cucinelli, Bulgari, Loro Piano has open new spacious boutiques in the city centre. How much changed caffe where I take my breakfast (close to Prada), Fendi Boutique is very nice and have very friendly stuff. Please do not forget to book your dinner, otherwise you will not find any place. All was fully booked end of august!!! I loved to enjoy Augustus Hotel Beach, it is just perfect. Top service, very nice restaurant, super guys in the bar, super cocktails, very nice location and a lot of interesting events!! I love family hotels but big ones are also very good. Hotel Miramonti, Hotel Hermitage and Augustus are my favorite. I can`t wait to meet my friends during gala dinner at Augustus and Ted`ex event end of august and can`t wait to come back for the whole month next summer. Best Photo in Town- Felix, via Mazzini!!! Will make beautiful pictures, which you will keep all of your life !!! Happy to stay there, always. Milena, August 27, 2023. P.S. Don`t forget to visit Pietrasanta City (15 min drive from forte). Very chic seaside resort. We were there is June and even then it was crowded, limited parking available. It would be worse in summer. Also, if you don't pay a beach club, you have no access to the beach! Club rates are 30-300 euro/day according to one resident. But, if you like very high end shopping this is it. Every major high end store is here. Lovely outdoor restaurants. We actually liked Marina di Pietrasanta, the little town next door, more than Marmi. It is charming, small, on the water, has good restaurants and is not crowded. If you don't need "chic" this is a good alternative.

Dont go in July or August. June or September best. Its not a resort with a lot of culture ( museum, churches etc). However, it is within easy reach of culture cities, Pisa, Florence etc. Its purely a beach holiday with good facilites for cycling and excellent restaurants.RobertIreland - 8.0Scored 8.0

I thought I had booked a junior suite with a balcony. In this hotel they don't exist. We had a very good room in an old and perfectly maintained villa. Expect it to be expensive and senjoy the comfort and helpful staff. It is like Gleneagles by the sea!

The place was not seat up as requested. One of the beds was ready and the other one was not. The toilet was missing the seat and we were told it wouldn’t be available for a week. Who does that?!? The bathroom, drawers and other things were extremely dirty. I stayed for 15 minutes before I walked out and never looked back. Awful!!! It’s a trap!!!

Forte dei Marmi has much to offer the more mature traveller with somewhat deep pockets. The restaurants and cafes are varied in what they offer, but all excellent. The shops are high class and up to date in terms of fashion.JohnCook Islands

The room was spotlessly clean and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. And Valentina, who greeted us every morning with breakfast was outstanding--she was always there to ensure you had what you needed, and her freshly baked cakes were outstanding! Marina, who checked us in, was outstanding, too, texting us in advance to ensure she was there to greet us. And it was a great value, particularly for Forte dei Marmi!
