Recently restored, offers a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, 2 separate queen size beds. Characteristic and original high wooden ceilings, arches and stone walls. This guest house of 28 square meters was recently renovated and offers exclusive use with available amenities such as: Wi-Fi, flat-screen satellite TV, heating/air conditioning, fully equipped kitchen with coffee maker, couch, dining area and bathroom including stand up shower, blow dryer and linens. The position of the flat, located in a typical alleyway, allows for a small table outside to enjoy breakfast or even a good glass of wine in the distinctive atmosphere. The apartment provides its guests with ancient architecture displaying natural arches and stonewalls with handmade furniture matching the local style. Sleeping accommodates a maximum of 4 people; a queen-size bed located on the lower level bedroom and an additional queen-size bed in a small upper loft (height 1,50 mt/5 ft.).

The apartment is located precisely in the previous Jewish neighborhood of ​​Ortigia known as Giudecca, which is one of the most historic sites of the island. In this location there are many sacred Christian buildings that were constructed above ruins of synagogues and underground dungeons. Many of the buildings in this location are characterized by mixed architectural styles: the Sicilian Baroque and the Hebrew Israelite styles, with elements that go back to the Medieval and Renaissance periods. These architectural styles are also demonstrated throughout the narrow alleys and winding streets that make up the Giudecca neighborhood. One of the most attractive places are the Jewish Baths that are located 20 meters below ground level. There you will discover purification basins, where fresh water still flows today. In the near vicinity you can savour some of the best foods the island has to offer with delicious typical Sicilian specialties.
