The Melograno is a jewel in a jewel of a city. All aspects of our stay surpassed our expectations—from Massimo’s friendliness and excellent breakfast to the surprisingly easy (and creative) parking. So much to see and eat while dipping into history. Can’t recommend the B&B Melograno enough!

Il Melograno is a newly renovated B & B, as it is a building of at least 200 years located in the center of the ancient Arab city, a few steps from the city center. Thanks to its strategic position in the city, the Pomegranate is just 2.7 km from the renowned Valley of the Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the adjacent Archaeological Museum; 6 km from the sea coast San Leone where it takes place all summer nightlife, from the beach Scala dei Turchi 14 Km, from the beach of Eraclea Minoa 27Km, and from the beach of Punta Bianca (marine reserve WWF) 15 Km, and from Torre beach Salsa and Bovo Marina (WWF nature reserve) 20 Km. It is also 100 meters from the Pirandello Theater, a few steps from the diocesan tourist route (Cathedral, Church of Santa Maria dei Greci, Santo Spirito Monastery), a few steps from the center where you can eat every delicacy of typical Sicilian cuisine and wine bars; Distance from the train station 800 meters, and from the bus station 1 km; Il Melograno has 4 rooms: 1 quadruple, 1 triple, 1 triple suite with balcony, for a total of 10 seats plus the possibility of adding 1 bed for each room, plus 1 room / room for breakfast
