Fabulous - in the middle of Sicily in the mountains - an entirely different experience, much more authentic, not overridden with tourists and with friendly locals. You can see all the main highlights in a day, but would recommend longer just to wander, enjoy the views and have some downtime. Enna is one of the highest cities in Sicily.
Enna is one of the highest cities in Sicily. There are stunning panoramic views of the surroundings from the old city. The town has many attractions, ancient streets, the atmosphere of the old city. Castello di Lombardy, Duomo, Chiesa di San Francesco D’Assisi, Torre di Federico II It is best to come to Enna in spring or autumn, it is very hot in summer. Half an hour drive, the unique ancient Roman mosaics in Villa Romana del Casale, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.AlexanderIsrael - 10Scored 10
Wow and wow.
Wow and wow. I did not know about Enna before I stuck a pin in map. Lucky pin. I travel quite a bit, and to find such a place and such accommodation keeps me going. Knowledgeable, friendly owners help much. Just try. You will not be disappointed. Trust me.

The old town is small, and city behind it is rather ugly and not interesting. Next time I would rather get to Enna for a coffee, or lunch, and small walk around, but I stayed there for 2 nights - it was too long, not worth it. Especially in begening of November - it was around 10-12 degrees in Enna, at the same time on the bottom (lake Nicoletti - 15 minutes ride) it was 19 degrees.JedrekMartaPoland

The hotel itself is very nice with bright and airy rooms and with a good Italian breakfast. There are also a couple of good bars and restaurants a few metres away plus a supermarket. Staff is very helpful and the location is also perfect for those who wish to spend a quiet stay. Covid rules were respected by the staff.
