I really loved the little green garden that's hidden but quite jungly. I loved the location, so close to the centre, and the house is very spacious with lots of commodities. I loved that we could play music on the record player! The house was very clean and we really enjoyed spending our time there. Pier, Anto e Gabriele made our stay unique, with loads of special recommendations.

Everything is perfect with this flat and we feel like a home here! We were even welcomed by the blooming flowers in the garden! So sweet! Our host Pier and his family treated us like a family and gave us many good advices about where to eat/drink and what to see in Bologna. They even recommended a good restaurant in Firenze. We had dinner in that restaurant and it was again a very tasty experience! We are happy and lucky that we found this apartment in Bologna. We will definitely return and would like to stay with them again! Highly recommended!

beautiful apartment and excellent Air conditioning during very hot time. we stayed for 20 days and had a wonderful time. the enclosed patio overlooking the garden was lovely. our hosts were extremely kind and helped in every way including getting us taxis to the airport.

The apartment was situated in a calm neighbourhood just 15 minutes walk from the city centre. The interior was modern and fresh and well equipped, the bed very comfortable. The view of the garden was absolutely wonderful. We spent a lot of time just sitting there looking out at the green. The hosts were very helpful and gave many good tips. We tried almost every restaurant they recommended and had several good meals. Can really recommend this accommodation.

The property is in an excellent location near the university and in the centre, with many wonderful bars, cafes and restaurants nearby. You are also close to the beautiful hills for a walk or a run in nature. The apartment is very tasteful and fully equipped, the bed is super comfy, and the hosts kindly provided coffee and wine and tea and biscuits along with cooking basics. It is quiet and dark in the bedroom and the air conditioning was very good. The garden room is really a wonderful space, we worked there all day and then went out at night. The hosts were so welcoming and helpful, hands down the best hosts we’ve ever had.

Pier and Anton are extremely hospitable and lovely hosts! They take the time to patiently show you around the house and provide suggestions to look around the city for first timers. The location is perfect and can be easily reached either by public transport or by foot from the city center. The house is beautifully designed with your own private garden in the backyard. The place has everything you need for your comfortable stay. The provision of the bike was extremely helpful to bike through Bologna streets! Highly recommend anyone visiting Bologna to stay here.

I loved my time at Giardino Segreto. Antonella was very welcoming and professional on arrival. She also provides lots of recommendations of places to eat. So much care has gone into making you feel welcome, from the welcome drink, coffee, toiletries and washing machine.
