All was nice , good food , atmosphere, beach, landscapes , friendly people.
A bit problematic to get to the airport and from airport , sometimes you need a taxi which is from 20 EUR for ~ 8 min. If you want to eat in a good place in the city centre , better make reservation beforehand as everything can be booked.

Unfortunately Pescara got destroyed by the allied bombing during WW2 and rebuilt with total disregard of the original architectonic style and history of the place. I was really disappointed by how much concrete and senseless modern buildings and structures were built from the 60s until probably the 90s. There are a couple of spots which are still beautiful like the old town and the tiny pineta area in front of the beach but for the rest is an ugly city. On a positive note, the sea promenade is pretty amazing for walkers and runners and people are generally really nice.

It is a lively city with, what appears to be, a young thriving population. The beaches are clean and large expanses are public. The town has several excellent restaurants. Lots of pleasant walkways, bicycle paths. The entire population seems to congregate at the main piazzas, at night, to enjoy each other’s company, to dance and enjoy people watching.

In october the weather was fine, water in the see was warm, but the restaurants were closed or opened very late. People in Pescara speak only italian. There is not a lot to see in P. They don´t want turists, which I understand after Rome.

I was traveling via bicycle.
I was traveling via bicycle. The city is one of the most bicycle friendly cities with bike lanes on most roads. The city has a large bike bridge that spans the river dividing the city. Excellent for bikers.
The hosts are amazing kind and generous people who are so helpful, nothing is too much trouble. One day there was a taxi strike so the host drove us to Pescara no problem. Some great local restaurants were also recommended and booked for us. Food amazing best pizza and excellent fish. The house is spotless and the air conditioning is super effective and quiet. The house is literally across the road from the beach with miles and miles of golden sand. The best thing is you feel you are in real Italy surrounded by Italian families.
The location close to the beach, lots of great places to eat nearby, the amazing hospitality of the host, who takes his time and prepares a really nice breakfast catered to individual preferences. He had lots of tips for Pescara and other places in Italy and knows how to make his guests feel special. The apartment is very clean and we would definitely stay there again. GRAZIE :)
The place is cosy and comfortable. The room-bathroom were clean. Small refrigerator (in the entrance) was handy. The location is not distant from the city center, and in daytime, bus n12 goes nearby. The neighborhood was nice, and at a walking distance to the hilly side of Pescara. The landlord was the nicest person you can meet. I will definitely come back!
The location of Le Stanze Sul Corso was perfect. It was a very easy walk from the train station. Multiple restaurants and sites were also a short to medium walk away. I was coincidentally in Pescara for the tenth stage of the Giro d'Italia 2022. The city was in a very festive and celebratory mood. I loved the excitement. I would definitely stay here again.
Fantastic hotel; sleek, modern, great 'extras' and excellent customer service. Terrific location, and great all around value. We only stayed one night and wish we stayed longer. The apartment was ideal for our family. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the blackout curtains helpful - walking distance to great bars, restaurants + the beach! WOW!
Plaza Hotel meets both business and holiday travelers being conveniently close both to downtown and trains station while offering additional services not always available in Italy mid-size town, such as 25/7 check-in and early (since 4.00 AM) breakfast kit. Kudo to the personnel kindness, always appreciated.
Superb location, right in the center of Pescara and at a couple of minutes walking from the sea. Very close to cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. Inside, the apartment was quiet. The host (although at the hospital the day I arrived) guided me to the location of the apartment and helped me to get the keys.
Delicious, diverse Italian food, friendly hotel staff. The corner room was tiny, but the terrasse was more significant than the room, and there was a deck chair so you could sunbathe.
There is a bar in front of the hotel on the beach with friendly staff and a pleasant evening atmosphere with good music.
The flat is big and they ceilings are high. It is warm enough even in the winter, not always in Italy. The host was very polite and give us all the information we needed. The location is perfect: next to the beach (you can even see a bit of the sea) and the walking street.
The hotel is an old building, but I truly liked the vintage atmosphere, the lovely high ceilings and the furniture. We were upgraded to a deluxe room with sea view and a balcony, which was amazing!
Staff is very cordial and kind, compliments!
- very good location, right in the center of Pescara
- nice, clean room with large and comfortable bed
- hot water with very good pressure
- good breakfast with nespresso coffee, fresh orange juice, pastery (cake, croissant), fruits
Family ran hotel. Very nice and quiet. The room had a large balcony which was very peaceful. The hotel is ran by a family and their grandmother made the cakes served at breakfast. Everything about the place was excellent.
The apartment was increidible, beyond our spectations. Paola was very nice when receiving us and let us know all the essentials at our arrival.
I would definitely come back to stay there when visiting my family in Pescara.
"What a nice host! My son went to Italy alone for the first time. Despite arriving late at the accommodation due to train problems, extra arrangements were made for my son and his friend. Highly recommended!"
The location was awesome! Close to Pescara central, easy walk to the train station. On the beach. Bar and Tabachiaio right there, trash easy to dispose of, great balcony! The dryer was a nice surprise.
The B&B Hotel is located in the centre of Pescara, easy to reach from the airport and close to amenities. The staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean and warm.
Located in a very nice position at the center of Pescara. The room was big, with a very big bed and the jacuzzi was the cherry on top. Highly recommended!
