It’s an old mining town (coal). Interesting place to visit due to history on how the town came about. But the town itself is so so…. Iglesias however is nice and younger crowd, plenty of restaurants and more lively. Iglesias is highly recommended to visit

Was great to find free parking at the railway station as an excellent service into Cagliari which avoided having to try and park in the city. Also direct service to and from the Cagliari Elmas Airport. Quiet town with amazing mining history and museum plus few good stores. Mining center is well worth a visit. Best to pre-book

its a very small cosy city with very good access to amazing...
its a very small cosy city with very good access to amazing spots and attractions with in 1-1.5 h reach. Specially for kite surfing, Punta Trettu is the best spot for beginners, only 15 min away. In addition, the city got couple of very delicious and relatively cheap restaurants.Mek002Germany

The owner and his family went above and beyond - transporting me to the hospital and supermarket, helping me communicate with the doctors and generally making me feel welcome and cared for.They have hearts of gold. The hotel itself is full of character - with lots of fascinating objects to discover. The whole place has a rustic charm. The room was simple but comfortable - with a fridge and the possibility to make tea and coffee.

Very accommodating for our early start on our first day, arranging a lovely early breakfast. Very convenient to visit Nebida, Masua and Porto Flavia as well as being able to view the Pan di Zucchero. There are also several Grotta to visit nearby, the Grotta di Su Mannua were reached by a lovely scenic drive and were very impressive.

However, it can serve as a nice base of operations for tourists who want to travel around the south-west Sardinia.

The garden is lovely and the breakfast excellent (something that I find hard to find in Italy). The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Very happy.
