Margherita di Savoia is nice in the northern part of the city with lovely restaurants and bars, as it is a tourist destination.
Most of the beachfront is private and you are required to rent a sun-bed and umbrella but each place also has food and drink options.
There are small areas of free public beach access.
Travel by car is the best option as public transport is not overly regular and there are many beautiful locations within short driving distances.

There was evident poverty there; we had adults with children begging for money whilst we were eating in restaurants, in their outdoor areas.
Some of the promenade was run down; other bits were nice

The town has very few restaurants - mainly pizza /take aways. The town was dirty with a lot of rubbish. Hired car was damaged/vandalised within the first hour of parking in the town between 7 and 9 p.m. Not a good start to a holiday. Overall, the town had very little to offer the tourist. Very little to see. Very little to do.

We had a lovely stay at via Veneto! We had sea view from our room and the beach was in walking distance.
Upon our arrival we were greeted by our host Victoria. Not only was she very friendly, she was also very helpfull. She provided tips for our stay and answered every question we had. The room was very clean and even though we had a short stay (5 nights) it was cleaned regulary.
We enjoyed our stay very much, and would definitely recommend it!
Excellent staff!!! There are a parking problem in the city, so be aware of parking restrictions.
Hotel is small but beyond expectations, clean, modern and in the middle of the city. They have a terrace that's a bonus.
The hotel's private beach is far from the hotel(800m), but you can choose another one nearby.
The private beach is Excellent, by the way.
The rooms are spacious and the bathroom is very good!!!
Breakfast excellent!!
The place of accommodation is very clean and the owners are very friendly and welcoming. The location is very close to the city center, with many shops, restaurants and surroundings, even if you don't have a car, you can get around very easily. Close to the sea with well-kept beach areas
Excellent host, Silvia, couldn’t do enough for us
Spotlessly clean, parking nearby, very comfy bed and pillows, warm, fast Wi-Fi,
Good position for the centre and beach.
Tea and coffee making facilities extra homemade biscuits too!
Great breakfast.
Breakfast was included at a nearby cafe and was very nice. The location is perfect, very central and just a few minutes by walking from the beach. Lots of nice cafes and restaurants nearby and parking is available on the street.
Fabulous location, excellent clean and well maintained sand beach, lovely sea view, very helpful staff, spacious and clean room. Gradual entrance to the sea - fabulous place for families with toddlers and kids.
