I like the friendly stuff that drove and picked us up every day at the bottom of the hill because we are not advanced skiiers and were not able to ski on the red slope which is the closest to the hotel. Also, I really appreciate that the stuff made a romantic dinner and atmosphere one day with candle lights. The food was absolutely amazing. We had carpaccio, rib-eye steak and other amazing dishes.

Oolang cable car at Kronplatz is just 5 min drive down the hill. Hotel has wellness and sauna with a panoramic view, very nice and safe kids play ground outside and a small play room indoors next to a bar/restaurant. The hotel is dog friendly and has spacious rooms to fit an entire family. We stayed in the room 303, which turned out to be the biggest room on the floor. Room was exceptionally clean and freshly renovated. Quiet area and no sound from snow cats servicing ski tracks (might be also the subject of staying at the end of the season). Will be definitely coming back!

Almhotel Lenz is a lovely, cozy, nice, comfortable hotel in Valdaora. It is located high on the mountain in a wonderful green environment. The reward for the high location is a stunning view down to Valdaora valley. The hotel looks great with lots of woodwork, and many flowers. Rooms are clean, tidy, comfy, there is also an elevator should you have heavy luggage. We also had a nice balcony, which further enhanced the experience. There is a nice terrace in front of the hotel, where you can sit, relax and enjoy the great view. Restaurant is nice, breakfast is tasty, staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel also has a large, spacious and safe parking place for cars and motorcycles. Good price/value ratio. All in all a very pleasant place to stay, and a good choice when visiting the region.
