a nice town with an old part behind the walls. lots of greenery, parking lots and bars, walking paths and restaurants.During the day, we walked around Okpliška, in the evening we came to the city for dinner and to the accommodation to rest. we ate at pizzeria Rosso vivo. I have never had a better pizza, the price was not too high either. The food at La Torretta was also very tasty.

Chianciano Terme is a quaint little southern Tuscany town with great restaurants, little streets and beautiful architecture. It's a great gateway to many other local towns such as Montepulciano, Pienza, San Gimignano among many others. There are thermal sources nearby such as San Filippo and great hikes such as la Foce. Florence is a 2 1/2 - 3 hours drive depending on traffic.

Charming local town with some good bars and restaurants.
Charming local town with some good bars and restaurants. A great base away from the tourists hot spots but an excellent location to visit those attractions whilst experiencing life in a real local Tuscan town.

The museum is amazing!!!
The museum is amazing!!! We were hoping to visit a thermal pool but the one
we went to (Theia) had so many rules and was so expensive for the amount of time we wanted to stay that we left. (The staff there could have been friendlier.) It’s probably better to go if you have several hours to spend. Also, as Americans from Montana, it was stressful and confusing trying to figure out rules for parking. Chianciano is nicely situated for day drives to other beautiful spots in Tuscany and Umbria.

The town is very quiet and sadly nothing much to do. We visited a two restaurants and both were great experiences with owners introducing going as far as to welcome us.

The reviewers should estimate positively the items that are not advertised in the hotel offer at booking.com, ie some "value added" items, and for us it is balcony and the ceiling ventilator... and also I think that the room size had more (even without balcony) than just 16 square metres as advertised at booking.com.
I spoke a little Italian so the landlord Gianny and I could understand each other...however either his wife or his son were always in the vicinity so they could also translate...
Breakfast was from 8am but Gianni kindly offered us to have it from 7:30am if we wished so...
He often weared the mask, and always did at our breakfast so he really kept the anti-covid measures.
I don't like estimating location because the guests themselves can choose BEFORE THE RESERVATION if it is "far from the centre/beach/bus station/..." so I find stupid to say in reviews that it was "too far"...

Excellent boutique hotel, fabulous service from Cristina and her team. They went above and beyond to cater to the gluten free request and Cristina suggested a perfect itinerary for us each day. Breakfast and coffee was good, bed was comfy. There are many surrounding landmarks and towns and villages that we drove to. The garden view room was worth the extra and the rooftop hot tub was an added bonus! There is a fabulous looking gelato shop up the road which was open until late but we didn’t get to try.
First of all kudos to the staff. From check-in to showing the rooms, to breakfast and check-out, everything was beyond our expectations. True friendliness and helpfullness made this stay surprisingly pleasant. The hotel breakfast is good, nothing outstanding but good quality and plentiful. Rooms have a good size, and we had a balcony and bathroom accessoires (soap, shampoo etc.). Bonus: you could darken the windows completely. The staff took good care of CoVid rules, what we certainly appreciated.
Very good dinner
- Breakfast: tea and coffee served directy to the table which was nice, good selection of cakes, a little friut, only few things salty (scrambled eggs, cheese and ham) - but it's still good for italy standard in other hotels everything is sweet;)
- very nice and smilig service, the older gentleman serving coffee was realy charming
- daily cleaning and towels change
- free parking (downhill quite steep, for experienced drivers)
- close to explore Tuscany by car
Not truthful description of the property. Upon arrival room was not clean, super uncomfortable, two extra foldable beds were taking all the space. Room was on second floor, no elevator. Staff person declined help with luggage. We wanted to cancel, he pretended he does not understand us. Immediately informed booking.com and they did not return the money. Property owner reported us as “no show”, which is not true.
The staffs and owner are very welcoming and kind. They also have a swimming pool which is perfect for a very warm weather. You can also play tennis here and other sort of sport. The dinner is super nice and it’s only 20 euro for 4 meal courses. Top! The night that we were there, there’s sort of live band after dinner with other cool old people and it was fun to see!
This place was fenomenal! Could have not picked a better agriturismo stay, in the middle of everywhere you need to explore, Montepulciano, Val d’ Orcia, Umbria, etc..
The staff was super friendly and took well care of us.
The breakfast here OMG! -Amazing and organic too-
Room was comfortable and modern.
Palazzo Bandino is on our must stay again list.
The location of this hotel near many beautiful thermal baths and shopping was wonderful. The room was very clean and had a lovely large balcony. The staff are attentive and take extra care to greet and to help guests with any needs. Dinner was outstanding, traditional cuisine. I would highly recommend Albergo Martini.
The stuff is exceptionally polite, friendly and welcoming - they are making all the efforts to ensure a great stay! 10 stars out of 10 for their work!
The breakfast buffet offers great variety
The rooms are very spacious, and the location is very nice - close to the supermarket, some nice restaurants etc.
Amazing service and Tomasso and the family are amazing. They are friendly, cordial, and kind. Really elevated our experience in Italy. They helped us feel welcomed and home. Breakfast is amazing and we would say it is one of the best meals we had. Beautiful area to stay in.
Our room and bathroom was so clean and the hotel was very close to the bus stop! Marco allowed us to store our luggages there overnight after checking out, which made our lives so much easier. The breakfast food, though simple, was delicious and varied.
The staff is amazing, trying to make your life as easy as possible, including soya milk cappuccino :) The bar and garden area are very relaxing. The hotel restaurant serves good food. The property is very clean as well.
The Employees were extremely nice and welcoming. We could use.the Spa (one Sauna and a Whirlpool) for one hour exclusively. The surrounding area is very quiet and the view from our balcony was stunning
SPA and solarium were very new and had everything a SPA should have. Rooms were very beautiful, spacious and comfortable. We had both a shower and a bathtub. The room had a small fridge. Very nice.
I highly highly recommend this place. Actually I have already to my friends. They also reach out to me because the pictures I post are and were so beautiful. And I trust this place.
Extra clean, if you are with car traveling in Toscana region, i would strongly recomend to have a stop there because of great price to value ratio. It is great price for such hotel.
