Vicenza is superb for about 3 day stay - to recover our tastebuds after Germany - and is charming for that period. There were a number of exhibitions and museums (and the Theatre Olympico is a must) together with pleasant food, wine and company

We were only in Vicenza for 2 full days so we went to the ticket office and purchased a pass to visit 4 museums/attractions. We used 3 on just the first day so went back for another 2 on the second day (6 in total). Each one was terrific and well worth a visit. There are endless cafes and restaurants so we were never short of somewhere to sit and relax and enjoy great food and drink. Also lots of great shops.
Our hotel was very central so everything was within easy reach. For those who record their steps each day, we did a bit over 10,000 each day - very manageable.

Vicenza is an overlooked city in the hear of Italy.
Vicenza is an overlooked city in the hear of Italy. It has a wonderful selection of bars and restaurants, great museums, and incredibly kind people. The history is everywhere. Recommend visiting the numerous churches, museum of jewelry, and the theater if you have to choose just a few things. The city is walkable with many small streets to walk through while window shopping.

A lovely upscale town.
A lovely upscale town. Very safe, lots of restaurants and bars. Beautiful Palladian architecture. Highly recommend Palladian Tours. We had a walking tour and a self-guided e-bike tour (with GPSand online narration) of the Palladian villas on the outskirts of town. It’s a long but fun day! Avoid the restaurant called Prep on the main square: tourist trap that charges three times the coperto of other places on the piazza, accepts only cash (which you don’t know until time to pay), they insist that pizzas are personal size only even though it’s large enough for two people and will not let you share, and they have no boxes or means of transporting leftover pizza for you to enjoy the next day.

Vicenza is a very beautiful and historic city, and the advantage is that it is not overcrowded with tourists. Vicenza is close to other cities like Verona, Padova, Trento, and Mantova. There are frequent trains from Vicenza to all these places. It makes it a perfect place to know not only the city itself, but also for travelling to all the other places around it.
Lucca was one of the most amazing hosts we’ve encountered in our travels through many, many countries. The location is great; a quiet, safe neighborhood, clean and spacious. My son left his necklace and when Lucca found it he messaged offering to mail it to us. We had it back in 2 days time. Overall we highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Vicenza.
Cristina is a small hotel located in just two steps from Vicenza's central station and the old town. The room was very nice and clean, the bed was huge and soft. Unfortunately, we left too early and were unable to taste the hotel's breakfast, but we fully appreciated the convenient location so close to the beautiful historical town - the gates of ancient Vicenza were only a block away.
Wooden arches, floor, low ceiling, every well thought detail and decoration makes the apartment super cozy and unique. It’s one of the coziest apartments I have ever stayed in. The host is really helpful and location is perfect, just in a heart of Vicenza. Despite being very central, it was completely quiet during the night. I would be very happy to stay at the apartment again.
Our room was very spacious, beautifully decorated with wonderful bathroom facilities. The Staff were so kind and attentive throughout our stay in Vicenza. The hotel is only a short walk from the beautiful town and a situated in a quiet location. We were made very welcome during our 3 day stay.
I recommend Antica Pusterla.
Very rustic/country feel. Felt authentic Old World Italy 🇮🇹. Close to nature 🌄. And Paola was wonderful with her attention to hospitality and personal care with food preparation 🥚🧀🥘. The rooms and architecture were extremely warm and welcoming 🙏. And the rates were great for the level of service and facilities 💶👏!
My stay at this hotel definitely exceeded my expectations, it is a comfortable modern hotel, a perfect stay if you are on a business trip in the Vicenza area.
Kind and helpful staff, good breakfast nice rooms and free parking!

The Hotel's location was superb just off the Corso Andrea Palladio and a few steps away from the central piazza of Vicenza. The staff is quite kind and the gentleman who served me on day 2 for breakfast made a good cup of coffee. The nightly rate was inexpensive.
Lilia was very kind, very friendly and very supportive. I had moved out of my apartment because I was leaving Italy and had so many bags! Lilia was gracious enough to help me with all my bags and made my stay at B&B Vaca Mora a very comfortable one.
Santa Corona was a wonderful find for us in Vicenza. The location is great, 5-10 min walk to historic center of Vicenza. Their parking was perfect for us. Classy little hotel, nice, thoughtful desk people. Highly recommended!
Reasonably priced. We stayed for one night . The hotel is located in a pleasant, quiet area of Vicenza and the room was clean although small. Breakfast was great, the people in the reception warm and smiling.
Super Little hotel and offers exactly what you need. been in Vicenza three times for work and stayed here. Parking 10 meter from the door, AC room and cleaned bathrooms. Great value overall
It was the lovely staff that made this excellently located hotel exceptional. Friendly, professional, helpful. Our first visit to Vicenza and this hotel was wonderful for it.
The location was great! It was a nice walk into the center of Vicenza. I had a garage. It was right next door to a grocery store. The apartment had everything I needed.
