GlacierWorld is not just about the beautiful and special nature, we also offer you accommodation in a charming old renovated houses.The houses is only 3 kilometers from Hoffellsjökull (Hoffells glacier), which is a part of Vatnajökull which is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the country. From there we have many and exciting walkways where everybody should be able to find something suitable for themselves.
GlacierWorld is a family business and has been from the beginning. The owners are Ingibjörg and Dúddi and then the daughter Fríða and the son Sigfinnur run the business with them all year around. We do everything we can to make our guests feel welcome and as comfortable as possible. In the farm we have horses and sheep and a very nice dog called Kátur. We love to spend time together, and maybe that is why we all work together.
GlacierWorld is surrounded by spectacular nature which displays in great adversity, from a huge flat open space to steep mountains, or from an ice cold glacier water to applied geothermal heat.
