Guesthouse Grund just reopened June 2023. We have newly renovated the house for reopening. The place is warm and welcoming. We have eight rooms and six of them have fully equipped private bathrooms and the other two have shared bathrooms.
There are two shared bathrooms is the house one downstairs and one upstairs. We have one big shared kitchen where you can cook and relax whilst staying with us.
All of our rooms have double beds and in some of them we offer the twin bed option. All of our rooms have fresh towels, handtowel, bedding and blankets.
We also have a big parking lot where people can park near the entrance (free of charge) and free wifi in the house.

Guesthouse Grund is a family run business. We hope to make everyone's stay with us comfortable and as enjoyable as possible. We have self check in but you can always contact us through booking or our phone number if you have any questions or concerns. We try our best to answer as soon as possible and to give helpful information to all of our guests. We welcome all to Grund and wish everyone safe travels!
Grindavík is a small fishing town in the Reykjanes peninsula. This is the place to be if you are looking for a relaxed trip and it is near both the Blue Lagoon and the airport. Our guesthouse is located near the sea in a very calm neighborhood. Nice view and cozy environment.
