Migdal is a small town situated above the Sea of Galilee.
Migdal is a small town situated above the Sea of Galilee. Not much going on in the town itself, but it is a short drive from attractions in the area. Nice place to stay for Shabbat. There are a few synagogues and some nice walks you can take.

If you have to pay 900 shekel, the least you expect to find...
If you have to pay 900 shekel, the least you expect to find is a clean room and a good staff. This hotel haven’t heard about it. The room was dirty. They didn’t clean up the even the toilet. When we tried to call them there was no answer. When I got to the reception they couldn’t care less about it. The cleaning lady came and swept the room but was doing nothing in the toilet. When we were taking shower, there was a problem with the plumbing..... No coffee in the room. No spoons in the room. It seems like they are doing everything to spoil the stay of there guests... So sorry to spent my time and money there.

Since you cannot stay at Capernaum, Migdal is a nice place...
Since you cannot stay at Capernaum, Migdal is a nice place to stay. Also Mount Arbel is close. Coming down from mount Arbel, we used Migdal as a last stop on the Jezus trail from Nazareth to Capernaum. Also Migdal has a good bus connection with Tiberias.
